ٱلَّذِينَ
ءَامَنُواْ
وَعَمِلُواْ
ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ
طُوبَىٰ
لَهُمۡ
وَحُسۡنُ
مَـَٔابٖ
٢٩
En degenen die geloven en het goede werken verrichten: voor hen is er een goed leven en een goede plaats van terugkeer.

Disbelievers ask for Miracles, Allah's Response to Them
Allah says that the idolators said,
لَوْلاَ
(Why is not), meaning, there should be,
أُنزِلَ عَلَيْهِ ءَايَةٌ مِّن رَّبِّهِ
(a sign sent down to him from his Lord) The idolators also said,
فَلْيَأْتِنَا بِـَايَةٍ كَمَآ أُرْسِلَ الاٌّوَّلُونَ
