72:9
وانا كنا نقعد منها مقاعد للسمع فمن يستمع الان يجد له شهابا رصدا ٩
وَأَنَّا كُنَّا نَقْعُدُ مِنْهَا مَقَـٰعِدَ لِلسَّمْعِ ۖ فَمَن يَسْتَمِعِ ٱلْـَٔانَ يَجِدْ لَهُۥ شِهَابًۭا رَّصَدًۭا ٩
وَأَنَّا

نَقۡعُدُ
مِنۡهَا
مَقَٰعِدَ
لِلسَّمۡعِۖ
فَمَن
يَسۡتَمِعِ
ٱلۡأٓنَ
يَجِدۡ
لَهُۥ
شِهَابٗا
رَّصَدٗا

En dat, wij vroeger (vóór de Koran) op geheime plaatsen zaten om mee te luisteren, maar wie nu wil meeluisteren treft een pijl van vuur aan die op hem loert.

Uitleg

In this surah, thirteen ayahs begin either with a conjunction and anna (as in the first reading here), or with inna (emphatic particle) to create a new sentence. There are various explanations for anna which may be more appropriate to specific junctures [Makki].
