This verse specifically addresses Friday prayers, but its message applies to all obligatory prayers. Pause and reflect—how many of us actually stop everything when the adhan is called? How many of us continue with work, meetings, or even entertainment, as if the adhan is just background noise? Allah commands us to hasten, not delay. But what do we do? We prioritize the dunya (worldly matters) and place Allah second. Solat (prayer) is an opportunity to remember Him, to put Him above all else. Yet we remain busy, claiming to be 'earning a living.' The irony is that the One commanding us to leave our worldly affairs and turn to Him in prayer is the same One who provides that livelihood.

Notice how Allah uses the word 'raaziqiin' here—plural. Yes, humans also 'provide' sustenance—bosses pay salaries, customers buy products, friends lend support. But Allah emphasizes that He is the best of providers. So why are we still so focused on relying on people instead of Allah? We’re willing to delay prayers out of fear—fear of a missed opportunity, fear of angering the boss, or fear of 'losing income.' Yet the One who controls all sustenance is Allah. If He decrees it for us, no one can take it away. But if He withholds it, no amount of effort will bring it to us. Our mindset needs to change. Solat is not an interruption to earning—it is a declaration that we know who the true Provider is. If we can’t leave the dunya for a few moments to pray, what does that say about us? Think deeply about this. Allah tells us, 'What is with Him is better.' Do we believe that? May we reflect and act accordingly. Wallahu a'lam.

Allah uses words for walking , running , rushing in Quran.
In surah mulk 
هُوَ ٱلَّذِى جَعَلَ لَكُمُ ٱلْأَرْضَ ذَلُولًۭا فَٱمْشُوا۟ فِى مَنَاكِبِهَا وَكُلُوا۟ مِن رِّزْقِهِۦ ۖ وَإِلَيْهِ ٱلنُّشُورُ ١٥
He is the One Who smoothed out the earth for you, so move about in its regions and eat from His provisions. And to Him is the resurrection ˹of all˺.

He used ٱمْشُو which means walking calmly or if you know Urdu then there is a word 'mawaishi used for cows and goats because they walk calmly'. 
Allah used this word for finding 'rizq ' in this earth. To dig things deeper, look for opportunities. 

in Surah Jumuah 
He says 
يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓا۟ إِذَا نُودِىَ لِلصَّلَوٰةِ مِن يَوْمِ ٱلْجُمُعَةِ فَٱسْعَوْا۟ إِلَىٰ ذِكْرِ ٱللَّهِ وذَرُوا۟ ٱلْبَيْعَ ۚ ذَٰلِكُمْ خَيْرٌۭ لَّكُم إن كنتُمْ تَعْلَمُونَ
O believers! When the call to prayer is made on Friday, then proceed ˹diligently˺ to the remembrance of Allah and leave off ˹your˺ business. That is best for you, if only you knew.

Now for jumuah prayer which is good for your deen and dunya, He used فَٱسْعَوْ, which means to make some 'efforts', you shouldn't just walk calmly to remember Allah. 

In Surah Al imran He says
۞ وَسَارِعُوٓا۟ إِلَىٰ مَغْفِرَةٍۢ مِّن رَّبِّكم وجَنة عرضُهَا ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتُ وَٱلْأَرْضُ أعدَتْ لِلْمُتقِينَ
And hasten towards forgiveness from your Lord and a Paradise as vast as the heavens and the earth, prepared for those mindful ˹of Allah˺.

He used  وَسَارِعُوٓ  means rushing, and hastening for forgiveness. More than making efforts 
Then in surah hadid He says,
سَابِقُوٓا۟ إِلَىٰ مَغْفِرَةٍۢ مِّن رَّبِّكم وجنَّةٍ عَرْضُهَا كَعَرْضِ ٱلسَّمَآءِ وَٱلْأرضِ أعِدَّتْ لِلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ بِٱللَّهِ وَرسلِهِۦ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ فَضْلُ ٱللَّهِ يُؤْتِيهِ مَن يَشَآءُ  وَٱللَّهُ ذُو ٱلْفَضْلِ ٱلْعَظِيمِ ٢١
˹So˺ compete with one another for forgiveness from your Lord and a Paradise as vast as the heavens and the earth, prepared for those who believe in Allah and His messengers. This is the favour of Allah. He grants it to whoever He wills. And Allah is the Lord of infinite bounty.
 
He used  سَابِقُوٓ  means competing and beating each other for forgiveness and Jannah.

You notice how Allah used different for with diff frequency to approach things. Which teaches a remarkable lesson that your speed must be dependent on what you are seeking, for this dunya, you have to take calm steps but when it comes to your Rabb, you have to hasten, make efforts.

The Sovereignty (67:15) 

هُوَ ٱلَّذِى جَعَلَ لَكُمُ ٱلْأَرْضَ ذَلُولًۭا فَٱمْشُوا۟ فِى مَنَاكِبِهَا وَكُلُوا۟ مِن رِّزْقِهِۦ ۖ وَإِلَيْهِ ٱلنُّشُورُ ١٥

He is the One Who make earth submissive under our feet (due to gravity we can walk on earth ), so move about in its regions and eat from His provisions. And to Him is the resurrection ˹of <br></br>

Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace, and blessings be upon him, said, 'When Friday arrives, angels are over the door of every mosque to record those who arrive one by one. When the Imam sits to begin, they close their scrolls and come to listen to the reminder. The parable of one who comes early is that of one who offers a fine camel, the next like one who offers a cow, the next like one who offers a ram, the next like one who offers a chicken, the next like one who offers an egg.'

{ A man asked the Prophet ﷺ about the Hour, saying, "When will the Hour be?" 
The Prophet ﷺ said, "What have you prepared for it?"
 The man said, "Nothing, except that I love Allah and His Apostle." 
The Prophet ﷺ said, "You will be with those whom you love." } (Sahih Al-Bukhari, 3688)

The people can be spread throughout the land, but we find ourselves gathering nonetheless. There are the more apparent points that we gather through, such as looks and the country of birth. Then there are the deeper senses of belonging that come from the heart, one that yearns to be with those who align with the standards or morals you strive for and those who act in ways you look up to. On a surface level, these associations can tell you so much about a person—it's no secret that data is considered gold in this day and age for a business. On a deeper level though, it's also why when you associate with the right people, they can help bring out the best in you—of course you're going to go out of your way to take advice from a professional swimmer on swimming if you're interested in learning; you're not going to go look up the different names of professional cooks in an attempt to get swimming advice from them.

In this, we can catch a glimpse of how it is we'll be gathered on the Day of Judgement simply by looking to who we'd love to be with and the people we assume the best of. And so we say that, regardless of how we spread through the land, we should look to who we strive to gather with. Regardless of the country you were born in, upon gender, race, age, wealth or status, you'll ultimately find yourself gathering with those who take similar paths as you and diverging away from those who don't, even if it may not seem like that at times, and so to say that we'll be gathered together one day is to remember to take responsibility for the paths we walk.

Just a Reminder to spend this Friday and every other Friday doing more than usual acts of worship for the sake of Allah just on this blessed day. In return for him creating you

One of the most uplifting things this week was going to one of four socially distanced Jumuah prayers in our small neighborhood Masjid. It was a beautiful sunny day in an otherwise cold Fall. Despite having multiple prayers, the masjid filled up quickly, and shortly after the parking lot was full. Many young people showed up. An inspiring speech was given by AbdulBadawy about our beloved prophet Mohammed saws. All of a sudden the US elections that have been occupying most of us seemed so insignificant and the greatness of Allah, His Messenger, and the youth filled Jumu'ah was most prevalent.
