In the Name of Allah, the Most Merciful, the Especially Merciful,

Life contains happiness, but it also contains struggles. It contains joy and it contains deep sadness. 

Yet how you view your creator is what will get you through and how can one get to know Al Khaliq better? It is by reflecting upon the Qur’an and Allah's Names and Attributes. I remember once penning down a quote by Sh Salman Ouadah:

“Not a single one of Allah’s beautiful Names focuses on His punishment, anger or wrath. Instead, we find Names which express His Mercy, love and Kindness; others depicting His Knowledge, wisdom. Others about His greatness and majesty.”  (Reflecting upon the 99 beautiful Names of Allah). 

When one does so, his or her understanding of their creator should become more clearer than previously; a conclusion is that He is full of Mercy, kindness and He is always ready to forgive before the point of death. 

So, no matter how far you and I are, no matter how lost we have become, no matter the vastness of our sins, our weaknesses, our vulnerability our laziness or the feelings of anxiety and overwhelmingness. Allah is ready to forgive us, ready to embrace us, ready to wipe away the sins and overlook the shortcomings. Perhaps losing hope in Allah is much greater than the sins which so heavily weigh you down. Perhaps, the greatest misery is losing hope in Allah and not reflecting upon His Greatness and Mercy.
