Dan berkatalah Yusuf kepada orang yang ia percaya akan terselamat di antara mereka berdua: "Sebutkanlah perihalku kepada tuanmu". (Setelah orang itu dibebaskan dari penjara) maka ia dilupakan oleh syaitan untuk menyebutkan (hal Yusuf) kepada tuannya. Dengan sebab itu tinggalah Yusuf dalam penjara beberapa tahun.
I can only imagine the joy this prisoner felt when he was freed.
How often it is as humans when good comes our way we become so absorbed in the enjoyment that Shaitan causes us to forget. We forget gratitude. We forget obligations. We forget our purpose.
Shaitan is constantly plotting.... Distracting us not only to the detriment of ourselves but sometimes unfortunately to the detriment of others as well.
Allah Allah!! This! 💕 Surat Yusuf teaches us that Allah may delay you to fast track you.
And even in a moment where Yusuf might have been deflated…where he finally has a prisoner whose dream He interprets, and Yusuf says, 'Remember me with your Lord.'
Allah says, the prisoner forgot.
And so Yusuf stays in prison, for YEARS more…
