ان تستفتحوا فقد جاءكم الفتح وان تنتهوا فهو خير لكم وان تعودوا نعد ولن تغني عنكم فيتكم شييا ولو كثرت وان الله مع المومنين ١٩

إِن تَسْتَفْتِحُوا۟ فَقَدْ جَآءَكُمُ ٱلْفَتْحُ ۖ وَإِن تَنتَهُوا۟ فَهُوَ خَيْرٌۭ لَّكُمْ ۖ وَإِن تَعُودُوا۟ نَعُدْ وَلَن تُغْنِىَ عَنكُمْ فِئَتُكُمْ شَيْـًۭٔا وَلَوْ كَثُرَتْ وَأَنَّ ٱللَّهَ مَعَ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ ١٩

إِن

تَسۡتَفۡتِحُواْ

فَقَدۡ

جَآءَكُمُ

ٱلۡفَتۡحُۖ

وَإِن

تَنتَهُواْ

فَهُوَ

خَيۡرٞ

لَّكُمۡۖ

وَإِن

تَعُودُواْ

نَعُدۡ

وَلَن

تُغۡنِيَ

عَنكُمۡ

فِئَتُكُمۡ

شَيۡـٔٗا

وَلَوۡ

كَثُرَتۡ

وَأَنَّ

ٱللَّهَ

مَعَ

ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ

١٩

(Ó incrédulos) se imploráveis a vitória, eis a vitória que vos foi dada; se desistirdes, será melhor para vós; porém, sereincidirdes, voltaremos a vos combater e de nada servirá o vosso exército, por numeroso que seja, porque Deus está comos fiéis.

وَأَنَّ اللَّهَ

wa-anna Llāha

“...and because God is with the believers”

In this reading, there is an implied lam, and this phrase conjoins to anna in the preceding verse.

وَإِنَّ اللَّهَ

wa-inna Llāha

“And God is surely with the believers”

This forms a new sentence which supports the statements made before.
