هل ينظرون الا ان ياتيهم الله في ظلل من الغمام والملايكة وقضي الامر والى الله ترجع الامور ٢١٠
هَلْ يَنظُرُونَ إِلَّآ أَن يَأْتِيَهُمُ ٱللَّهُ فِى ظُلَلٍۢ مِّنَ ٱلْغَمَامِ وَٱلْمَلَـٰٓئِكَةُ وَقُضِىَ ٱلْأَمْرُ ۚ وَإِلَى ٱللَّهِ تُرْجَعُ ٱلْأُمُورُ ٢١٠
هَلۡ

يَأۡتِيَهُمُ
ٱللَّهُ
فِي
ظُلَلٖ
مِّنَ
ٱلۡغَمَامِ
وَٱلۡمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ
وَقُضِيَ
ٱلۡأَمۡرُۚ
وَإِلَى
ٱللَّهِ
تُرۡجَعُ
ٱلۡأُمُورُ
٢١٠
Forse aspettano che Allah venga, avvolto in ombre di nuvole e con gli angeli 1 ? Ma tutto è ormai deciso ed è ad Allah che ritorna ogni cosa.

وَالمَلَائِكَةُ
wa-l-malāʾikatu
“for God to come before them in a canopy of clouds, together with the angels”
The word is conjoined to the Divine Name, so falls under the action of ‘coming’.
وَالمَلَائِكَةِ
wa-l-malāʾikati
“for God to come before them in a canopy of clouds, surrounded by angels” or “...in a canopy composed of clouds and angels”
The word is conjoined either to ẓulal (operated on by fī) or ghamām (operated on by min).

Spiegazione

The two readings amount to the same meaning. The verse may be taken to describe actual events of the End Times, or to mock the expectations of the unbelievers; the angels are present in this image, in one form or another [Abu Hayyan].
