في قلوبهم مرض فزادهم الله مرضا ولهم عذاب اليم بما كانوا يكذبون ١٠
فِى قُلُوبِهِم مَّرَضٌۭ فَزَادَهُمُ ٱللَّهُ مَرَضًۭا ۖ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌۢ بِمَا كَانُوا۟ يَكْذِبُونَ ١٠

فَزَادَهُمُ
ٱللَّهُ
مَرَضٗاۖ
وَلَهُمۡ
عَذَابٌ
أَلِيمُۢ
بِمَا
كَانُواْ
يَكۡذِبُونَ

Nei loro cuori c’è una malattia
1
e Allah ha aggravato questa malattia. Avranno un castigo doloroso per la loro menzogna.

kānū yakdhibūna
“because they used to tell lies”
i.e. when they were alive, the hypocrites would falsely claim to be believers (2:8).
يُكَذِّبُونَ
kānū yukadhdhibūna
“because they used to deny”
i.e. they disbelieved in Allah and the Last Day.
