قل للذين امنوا يغفروا للذين لا يرجون ايام الله ليجزي قوما بما كانوا يكسبون ١٤
قُل لِّلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ يَغْفِرُوا۟ لِلَّذِينَ لَا يَرْجُونَ أَيَّامَ ٱللَّهِ لِيَجْزِىَ قَوْمًۢا بِمَا كَانُوا۟ يَكْسِبُونَ ١٤
قُل

Di’ ai credenti di perdonare coloro che non sperano nei Giorni di Allah: [Egli] compenserà ogni popolo per quello che si è meritato.

Spiegazione

These readings amount to the same meaning, referring to Allah's requital of the unbelievers. Abū Jaʿfar's reading has several grammatical explanations, though the norm with the passive verb is to have its subject in the nominative (hence qawmun) [see al-Alusi].
