فلما القوا قال موسى ما جيتم به السحر ان الله سيبطله ان الله لا يصلح عمل المفسدين ٨١

فَلَمَّآ أَلْقَوْا۟ قَالَ مُوسَىٰ مَا جِئْتُم بِهِ ٱلسِّحْرُ ۖ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ سَيُبْطِلُهُۥٓ ۖ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يُصْلِحُ عَمَلَ ٱلْمُفْسِدِينَ ٨١

فَلَمَّآ

أَلۡقَوۡاْ

قَالَ

مُوسَىٰ

مَا

جِئۡتُم

بِهِ

ٱلسِّحۡرُۖ

إِنَّ

ٱللَّهَ

سَيُبۡطِلُهُۥٓ

إِنَّ

ٱللَّهَ

لَا

يُصۡلِحُ

عَمَلَ

ٱلۡمُفۡسِدِينَ

٨١

Quando ebbero gettato, Mosè disse: «Quello che avete prodotto è magia. In verità Allah la vanificherà» ¹. In verità Allah non rende prospero l’operato dei corruttori.

bihi s-siḥru

“What you have brought is sorcery” OR "What have you brought? It is sorcery"

bihī ā-s-siḥru

“What have you have brought? Is it sorcery?”

This reading contains an additional interrogative hamzah, though the question is intended for mocking.

These readings express the same mocking remark from the Pharaoh to Moses (pbuh) in slightly different ways [al-Mahdawi].
