وجاء المعذرون من الاعراب ليوذن لهم وقعد الذين كذبوا الله ورسوله سيصيب الذين كفروا منهم عذاب اليم ٩٠
وَجَآءَ ٱلْمُعَذِّرُونَ مِنَ ٱلْأَعْرَابِ لِيُؤْذَنَ لَهُمْ وَقَعَدَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَذَبُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُۥ ۚ سَيُصِيبُ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ مِنْهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌۭ ٩٠

الْمُعَذِّرُوْنَ
مِنَ
الْاَعْرَابِ
لِیُؤْذَنَ
لَهُمْ
وَقَعَدَ
الَّذِیْنَ
كَذَبُوا
اللّٰهَ
وَرَسُوْلَهٗ ؕ
سَیُصِیْبُ
الَّذِیْنَ
كَفَرُوْا
مِنْهُمْ
عَذَابٌ
اَلِیْمٌ
۟
Dan di antara orang-orang Arab Badui datang (kepada Nabi) mengemukakan alasan, agar diberi izin (untuk tidak pergi berperang), sedang orang-orang yang mendustakan Allah dan Rasul-Nya, duduk berdiam. Kelak orang-orang yang kafir di antara mereka akan ditimpa azab yang pedih.

Penjelasan

Both readings contain the possibility that these people had genuine excuses, though the second (active participle of form IV) is more indicative of that. They can also be interpreted to mean they were making false excuses, and the first (from form II or VIII) is more indicative of that; in that case, the subsequent phrase 'those who lied' refers to the same people [al-Alusi].
