Al-Baqarah 2:224 ولا تجعلوا الله عرضة لايمانكم ان تبروا وتتقوا وتصلحوا بين الناس والله سميع عليم ٢٢٤
وَلَا
تَجْعَلُوا
اللّٰهَ
عُرْضَةً
لِّاَیْمَانِكُمْ
اَنْ
تَبَرُّوْا
وَتَتَّقُوْا
وَتُصْلِحُوْا
بَیْنَ
النَّاسِ ؕ
وَاللّٰهُ
سَمِیْعٌ
عَلِیْمٌ
۟
Dan janganlah kamu jadikan (nama) Allah dalam sumpahmu sebagai penghalang untuk berbuat kebajikan, bertakwa dan menciptakan kedamaian di antara manusia.1 Allah Maha Mendengar, Maha Mengetahui.

The Prohibition of swearing to abandon a Good Deed
Allah commands, `You should not implement your vows in Allah's Name to refrain from pious acts and severing the relations with the relatives, if you swear to abandon such causes.' Allah said in another Ayah:
