ولقد كتبنا في الزبور من بعد الذكر ان الارض يرثها عبادي الصالحون

وَلَقَدْ كَتَبْنَا فِى ٱلزَّبُورِ مِنۢ بَعْدِ ٱلذِّكْرِ أَنَّ ٱلْأَرْضَ يَرِثُهَا عِبَادِىَ ٱلصَّـٰلِحُونَ

How do we even begin to feel the weight of the names Ar-Rahman Ar-Rahim?

When you want to condense six hundred pages of guidance with the potential to introduce you to more than seven oceans worth of ink in wisdom on top of that into seven oft-repeated verses, repeating those names twice when you had ninety-seven other names to draw from is a choice.

Ar-Rahman Ar-Rahim is synonymous with bismillah.
Ar-Rahman Ar-Rahim is followed by alhamdulillahi rabbil-alameen.
Ar-Rahman Ar-Rahim precedes maliki yawm-mideen,
{ True sovereignty, that Day, is for the Most Merciful... } (Qur'an, 25:26)

On the Day we will know true horror, we will also come to see the weight of Ar-Rahman Ar-Rahim. On that day, you will see with certainty that al-hamd is synonymous with Allah; "The sky's the limit" will be rolled up into His Hand; bismillah will be its trade,
{ They will not be grieved by the greatest terror, and the angels will meet them, "This is your Day which you have been promised"
The Day when We will fold the heaven like the folding of a sheet for the records. As We began the first creation, We will repeat it. A promise binding upon Us. Indeed, We will do it.
And We have already written in the book after the mention that the land is inherited by My righteous servants. } (Qur'an, 21:103-105)

So what happened? How did we chase after this life and everything in it, only to miss the irony that comes with feeling nothing when asked to turn gaze towards the skies, to return it, and to return it twice again?

Upon witnessing the flowers bloom, we forgot the signs to whom it submitted to and attempted to take it home for ourselves. We forgot that they wither, and what remains is the face of the One who could reproduce it. Rather than be given life with the rain sent to us, we drowned ourselves in it; rather than eat from what we were blessed with, we choked on it; rather than free ourselves from the worst in us, we buried ourselves under a mountain of it. And on that Day, those who believe will not fear nor grieve because they kept their sights not on the flower that withers, but ahead towards the One it submitted to, the One who wishes to reproduce it again and again for you, and then again and again for you, because He hated that you should ever feel loss.
