ليكفروا بما اتيناهم وليتمتعوا فسوف يعلمون ٦٦

لِيَكْفُرُوا۟ بِمَآ ءَاتَيْنَـٰهُمْ وَلِيَتَمَتَّعُوا۟ ۖ فَسَوْفَ يَعْلَمُونَ ٦٦

لِیَكْفُرُوْا

بِمَاۤ

اٰتَیْنٰهُمْ ۙۚ

وَلِیَتَمَتَّعُوْا ۥ

فَسَوْفَ

یَعْلَمُوْنَ

۟

Biarlah mereka mengingkari nikmat yang telah Kami berikan kepada mereka dan silahkan mereka (hidup) bersenang-senang (dalam kekafiran). Maka kelak mereka akan mengetahui (akibat perbuatannya).

In this reading, this and the preceding verb have the lām which explains the outcome of their polytheism.

In this reading, both verbs have the imperative lām which conveys a threat.
