وكذالك نصرف الايات وليقولوا درست ولنبينه لقوم يعلمون ١٠٥

وَكَذَٰلِكَ نُصَرِّفُ ٱلْـَٔايَـٰتِ وَلِيَقُولُوا۟ دَرَسْتَ وَلِنُبَيِّنَهُۥ لِقَوْمٍۢ يَعْلَمُونَ ١٠٥

وَكَذٰلِكَ

نُصَرِّفُ

الْاٰیٰتِ

وَلِیَقُوْلُوْا

دَرَسْتَ

وَلِنُبَیِّنَهٗ

لِقَوْمٍ

یَّعْلَمُوْنَ

۟

Dan demikianlah Kami menjelaskan berulang-ulang ayat-ayat Kami agar orang-orang musyrik mengatakan, "Engkau telah mempelajari ayat-ayat itu (dari Ahli Kitab)." dan agar Kami menjelaskan Al-Qur`an itu kepada orang-orang yang mengetahui.

“You have read”

This (form I verb) conveys their accusation that the Prophet (ﷺ) had read the scriptures, i.e. studied them himself.

دَارَسْتَ

dārasta

“You have studied”

This (form III verb) is similar, but implies that the Prophet (ﷺ) had engaged in study with others.

دَرَسَتْ

darasat

“These (revealed signs) are outdated”

This reading is based on a less common sense of the root d-r-s, and the verb is ascribed to the 'signs' (āyāt) mentioned just before.

Penjelasan

These readings are complementary in meaning [Makki].

He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
