I stand in awe of Allah, who has the power to destroy us from the right and the left, the north and the south, and yet his mercy has been extended to us. May we live each day with the reality of the Day of Judgment, which we know will come without a doubt.  These ayat are so short, yet each one requires us to pause and reflect on the power of Allah on display in each one. As someone who loves poetry, the impact is not lost on me. We're invited to read each ayah again and again until the sobering message touches our hearts.
