Sa fortune ne lui sert à rien, ni ce qu’il a acquis.

A powerful reminder. Not only to Abu Lahab, who was the enemy of the Prophet (SAW). But it's a reminder to the rest of mankind. That wealth, status, family name will not help us on the Day of Judgement.
What matters are our actions. Our level of piety.
It doesn't matter if you don't have a penny in your pocket. Or if people look down at you. The only judgement that matters is that of Ar-Rahman.
And Allah (SWT) has made it fair for everyone ...
