افحكم الجاهلية يبغون ومن احسن من الله حكما لقوم يوقنون ٥٠
أَفَحُكْمَ ٱلْجَـٰهِلِيَّةِ يَبْغُونَ ۚ وَمَنْ أَحْسَنُ مِنَ ٱللَّهِ حُكْمًۭا لِّقَوْمٍۢ يُوقِنُونَ ٥٠
أَفَحُكۡمَ
ٱلۡجَٰهِلِيَّةِ
يَبۡغُونَۚ
وَمَنۡ
أَحۡسَنُ
مِنَ
ٱللَّهِ
حُكۡمٗا
لِّقَوۡمٖ
يُوقِنُونَ
٥٠
Est-ce donc le jugement du temps de l’Ignorance qu’ils cherchent? Qu’y a-t-il de meilleur qu’Allah, en matière de jugement pour des gens qui ont une foi ferme ? 1

“Is it the judgment of Ignorance they seek?”
This reading is in the third person, continuing the reference to ‘people’ in the previous verse.
تَبْغُوْنَ
tabghūna
“Is it the judgment of Ignorance you (pl.) seek?”
This reading implies that the Prophet (ﷺ) is made to address the people.
