لا تَسۡمَعُ فِيهَا لَاغِيَةً
lā tasmaʿu fīhā lāghiyatan
“where they will hear no idle talk” OR “where you will hear no idle talk”
This is an active verb referring to the 'faces', i.e. the righteous people. It may also be conjugated in the second person singular, addressing the Prophet ﷺ or each hearer of the Quran.
لا تُسۡمَعُ فِيهَا لَاغِيَةٌ
lā tusmaʿu fīhā lāghiyatun
لا يُسۡمَعُ فِيهَا لَاغِيَةٌ
lā yusmaʿu fīhā lāghiyatun
“wherein no idle talk is heard”
These are passive verbs, only differing in gender agreement with the subject 'idle talk'.

Explication

These readings convey the same meaning in slightly different ways [al-Alusi].

He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
