28:6

ونمكن لهم في الارض ونري فرعون وهامان وجنودهما منهم ما كانوا يحذرون ٦

وَنُمَكِّنَ لَهُمْ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ وَنُرِىَ فِرْعَوْنَ وَهَـٰمَـٰنَ وَجُنُودَهُمَا مِنْهُم مَّا كَانُوا۟ يَحْذَرُونَ ٦

وَنُمَكِّنَ

لَهُمۡ

فِي

ٱلۡأَرۡضِ

وَنُرِيَ

فِرۡعَوۡنَ

وَهَٰمَٰنَ

وَجُنُودَهُمَا

مِنۡهُم

مَّا

كَانُواْ

يَحۡذَرُونَ

Et Nous voulions aussi les établir puissamment sur Terre, et faire voir à Pharaon, à Hâmân, et à leurs soldats, ce qu'ils redoutaient.

وَنُرِيَ فِرْعَوْنَ وَهَامَانَ وَجُنُودَهُمَا

wa-nuriya Firʿawna wa-Hāmāna wa-junūdahuma

“and so We may show Pharaoh, Haman, and their armies...”

In this reading, Allah continues to speak with the first-person majestic plural, so the subsequent words are the object.

وَيَرَى فِرْعَوْنُ وَهَامَانُ وَجُنُودُهُمَا

wa-yarē Firʿawnu wa-Hāmānu wa junūduhuma

“and so that Pharaoh, Haman, and their armies would see...”

In this reading, Pharaoh etc. are the subject of the verb. It is pronounced in these readings with imālah.

These readings amount to the same meaning [Makki].
