ولقد ارسلنا نوحا وابراهيم وجعلنا في ذريتهما النبوة والكتاب فمنهم مهتد وكثير منهم فاسقون ٢٦
وَلَقَدْ أَرْسَلْنَا نُوحًۭا وَإِبْرَٰهِيمَ وَجَعَلْنَا فِى ذُرِّيَّتِهِمَا ٱلنُّبُوَّةَ وَٱلْكِتَـٰبَ ۖ فَمِنْهُم مُّهْتَدٍۢ ۖ وَكَثِيرٌۭ مِّنْهُمْ فَـٰسِقُونَ ٢٦
Explication
These are alternative ways of expressing this name in Arabic. There is variation in the way the word is written in the various codices and surahs, and while most readings pronounce it consistently as Ibrāhīm, some narrations pronounce it as Ibrāhām at specific junctures.
