When the people of Ibrahim A.S saw the condition of their idols, they asked each other to burn him to avenge for and help the idols. Those idols  became their liability that they had to help them, underscoring the fact that they cause no benefit or harm on their own. Whereas a believer in His worship asks Allah to help, in our lives and livelihood, for our dreams and aspirations, for our health and hope, in this world and the next.

Allah Ta'ala commanded us to make Him our wakeel , disposer of affairs.  Those who said Hasbun Allah were returned with favours, 

 There is no comparison for Him
 عـٰلم الغيب والشهادة الكبير المتعال 
 
Sometimes the trials we face seems unsurmountable, we feel overwhelmed and hopeless. The problems, the sickness, our own weaknesses may be intense,   but the Quran reminds us we have a Powerful and loving Rabb, He is aware of everything and and whoever trusts Allah, He Subhan Ta'ala suffices him.

Ultimately what Allah wills, will happen inevitably so leaving things in the care of Allah,  having good hopes from Him, focusing on the greatness of Allah , Trusting him and Tasbeeh becomes a source of comfort bi' iznillah.

In reflecting on this ayah, I visualize the sense of tawakul we have in being fully in Allah’s hands like being flown in a plane and trusting the pilot (and Allah is above all examples). 

This ayah seems to conjure a feeling of comfort from so many different directions. He knows what is before us and what is behind us. His seat encompasses what is above us and what is below us (heavens and the earth). He is in full control and never needs to relinquish that for any reason.

I am also reminded of the ayah from surah al Furqan that says 'Put your trust in the Ever-Living, Who never dies, and glorify His praises. Sufficient is He as All-Aware of the sins of His servants.' 25:58

Allah is always accessible. Like a parent responding immediately to the cry of their child at any hour of the night (again, Allah is above any example).

He is always in control. And all of that is true even though he is fully aware of our shortcomings.

From these ayahs, I feel fully embraced by Allah’s rahma from every direction and in every state.

The stress that is killing you. Pending projects. Overdue assignments. Not securing a job. Struggling & doubtful. Not sure how to cope with all the challenges and weight of responsibilities feels too much to bear. Hold on. Take deep breaths. You're not alone; you know that, right? Even if people never seemed to help you, Allah has always been there for you. Only you couldn't see. But He is closer than you think. It's about time you let go of any expectations from the creatures & rely on Allah.

A beautiful life-hack that Allah has blessed me with;

These days, Whenever I'm confronted by fear of anything whether exams, a diagnosed sickness, fear of men etc.. I sit down and start reciting
 حسبي الله ونعم الوكيل.  
(Sufficient to me is Allah, and He is Al-wakil _ the best Disposer of affairs.'

All of a sudden, my fear disappears , I get confidence and energy to face the reality. A burden gets removed from my heart and the trust of Allah fills it in return! 

Allahu Akbar! Try it too.

As parents, we often experience fear and anxiety about the prospect of dying, primarily because we worry about the future well-being and care of our children. It’s natural to feel responsible for their upbringing and to want to ensure their security and happiness. 

However, in our concerns, we sometimes forget a fundamental aspect of our faith: we are not the ultimate providers and caretakers of our children. This role belongs to Allah, who is the Rabb (Lord), Malik (King), and Murabbi (Sustainer and Nurturer).

As parents, we are entrusted with the care and upbringing of our children. This trust is a duty assigned to us by Allah, and it is our responsibility to fulfill it to the best of our abilities. However, our time on earth is finite, and when our appointed time comes to an end, the responsibility of caring for our children will be transferred to others, according to Allah’s plan. 

إِنَّا لِلَّهِ وَإِنَّآ إِلَيْهِ رَٰجِعُونَ

Understanding that we, our children, and our families belong to Allah provides a sense of peace and reassurance. It reminds us that Allah is in control and that He will take care of our loved ones, even in our absence.

Allah SWT says;

'And rely upon the Ever-Living who does not die and exalt [Allah] with His praise. And sufficient is He to be, with the sins of His servants, Acquainted.' (Surah Al-Furqan, 25:58)

By internalizing these teachings, we can approach our parental responsibilities with a balanced perspective, fulfilling our duties diligently while placing ultimate trust in Allah’s care and wisdom.


اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ أَنْ تَحْفَظَ أَوْلَادِي مِنْ كُلِّ شَرٍّ وَأَنْ تَهْدِيَهُمْ إِلَى صِرَاطِكَ الْمُسْتَقِيمِ وَأَنْ تُوَفِّقَهُمْ لِكُلِّ مَا تُحِبُّ وَتَرْضَى

Ya Allah, I ask You to protect my children from all harm, to guide them to Your straight path, and to grant them success in all that You love and are pleased with.

SubhanAllah, such  beautiful dua in the end there. JazakAllah Khayran

In contemplating this verse, one recognizes the transient nature of everything—fading, breaking, or being taken away, as all things have their appointed time.

However, amidst this impermanence, Allah affirms His eternal existence. Thus, placing our trust in Him becomes paramount. Even when blessings falter, His presence remains steadfast, offering unwavering support. 

Challenges may arise, inducing fear and loss, yet Allah assures us of His constant companionship. In times of distress, trusting in Him becomes a beacon of solace, for He guides us through adversity, drawing us closer to Him. 

Therefore, when faced with uncertainty and seemingly adrifting paths, entrusting ourselves to Allah ensures we find our destined place of belonging.

Put your trust in the one who gave you life and sustained it for you. 
In the One Who will cause death to you and keep you in it, until a time.
And who will give you life back and question you about it.
Praise him not because He needs it , but because YOU need it. 
And open to Him about your shortcomings, as He already knows. 
Ask Him for that tawakkul, for that strength  for that sincerity because He is the one that will make clear to you everything.

God is the Ultimate Trustee, to whom you can entrust any and all your affairs. God tells us: 'And rely upon the Ever-Living who does not die, and exalt [God] with His praise.' [Qur’an, 25:58] In practical terms, this means two things. Firstly, that we work as hard as we can with the means given to us. God is teaching us through His Names and attributes that we need to work. But being intimately acquainted with God means that conviction, confidence and internal tranquility as we strive, because we have already surrendered to God. And this is the second element. While we work for a particular result through the avenues available to us, we have absolutely no doubt that God will get us through to whatever is best, because indeed He is the Trustee. The Prophet ﷺ (peace be upon him) says: 'If you were to rely on God as He should be relied on, He would provide for you as He provides for the birds. They go out in the morning hungry and return in the evening full.' [Tirmidhi]
