اتبعوا ما انزل اليكم من ربكم ولا تتبعوا من دونه اولياء قليلا ما تذكرون ٣

ٱتَّبِعُوا۟ مَآ أُنزِلَ إِلَيْكُم مِّن رَّبِّكُمْ وَلَا تَتَّبِعُوا۟ مِن دُونِهِۦٓ أَوْلِيَآءَ ۗ قَلِيلًۭا مَّا تَذَكَّرُونَ ٣

ٱتَّبِعُواْ

مَآ

أُنزِلَ

إِلَيۡكُم

مِّن

رَّبِّكُمۡ

وَلَا

تَتَّبِعُواْ

مِن

دُونِهِۦٓ

أَوۡلِيَآءَۗ

قَلِيلٗا

مَّا

تَذَكَّرُونَ

آنچه از جانب پروردگارتان بر شما نازل شده، پیروی کنید، و از اولیاء (و معبود‌های) دیگر جز او، پیروی نکنید، چه اندک پند می‌‌پذیرید.

“Little do you (pl.) take heed”

In both these readings, the verb (form V imperfect) is conjugated for the second person plural like the start of the verse.

يَتَذَكَّرُونَ

yatadhakkarūna

“Little do they take heed”

In this reading, the verb is conjugated for the third person plural, so the Prophet (ﷺ) is informed that few will heed his message.

These readings have complementary meanings. Ibn ʿĀmir's reading corresponds to the Levantine Codex with an additional letter.
