ولا انتم عابدون ما اعبد ٣

وَلَآ أَنتُمْ عَـٰبِدُونَ مَآ أَعْبُدُ ٣

وَلَآ

أَنتُمۡ

عَٰبِدُونَ

مَآ

أَعۡبُدُ

٣

و شما (نیز) نمی‌پرستید آنچه را که من می‌پرستم.

This sura is perhaps the most misused sura these days. It seems a lot of people invoke it whenever they receive religious advice or criticism or to prove that we are not supposed to propagate the message of Islam and downplay the role of dawaa, when it is simply a statement distancing ourselves from disbelievers and their practices.
