The Power of a Simple Statement

Have you ever thought about the incredible power of words? As a revert to Islam, this statement has had a profound impact on me. A single sentence can change lives, shape history, and even inspire faith. In Islam, that powerful sentence is the Shahada: 'There is no god but Allah, and Muhammad is His Messenger.'

It's a simple statement, but it's the cornerstone of our faith. It's a declaration of belief, a commitment to Allah, and a recognition of Muhammad as His messenger.

When we say the Shahada, we're not just reciting words. We're making a conscious choice to submit our lives to Allah ﷻ, to seek guidance from His teachings, and to strive to live a life that pleases Him.

It's a beautiful and profound act of faith. So, let's take a moment to reflect on the Shahada. Let's appreciate its significance and renew our commitment to it.

 'There is no god but Allah, the One and Only. Allah is the Eternal, the Absolute. He begets not, nor is He begotten. And there is none like Him.' (Quran 112:1-4)

3:52)When Jesus sensed their disbelief, he said, 'Who are my supporters towards God?' The disciples said, 'We are God's supporters; we believe in God, and bear witness that we are submitters.'

Every prophet is the spiritual leaders of their nations. If we see Isa (A.S) as the God-inspired leader, then we find an excellent example of leadership in this verse . when prophet sensed his disciples are clouded with disbelief and doubts he immediately remind them of their purpose that 'We are God's supporters; we believe in God, and bear witness that we are submitters.'
Again, he established open communication to keep the team (disciples) informed, motivated, and focused on the goal by asking the questions that 'Who are my supporters towards God?' 
He made sure his disciples understood their role and devoted to achieving it! 
ISA ( A.S)managed to show them egotism ( disbelief/ doubts, small gains) hinder the great purpose. The supporters of God don't entertain selfish motives. They try to see the big picture! Isn’t it an example of an effective leader? May Allah’s Peace be bestowed on him and all the prophets of Allah.
