Every image, ad, or post can either pull the heart downward or lift it upward. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said, “The glance is one of the poisoned arrows of Satan. Whoever lowers his gaze for the sake of Allah, He will give him a sweetness of faith that he finds in his heart.” (Musnad Ahmad 4/358)This “sweetness” is no small gift. It is tranquility, focus in prayer, purity of thought, and peace of conscience. When the eyes stop wandering, the heart stops trembling.
