وَأَنفِقُواْ
فِي
سَبِيلِ
ٱللَّهِ
وَلَا
تُلۡقُواْ
بِأَيۡدِيكُمۡ
إِلَى
ٱلتَّهۡلُكَةِ
وَأَحۡسِنُوٓاْۚ
إِنَّ
ٱللَّهَ
يُحِبُّ
ٱلۡمُحۡسِنِينَ

Y contribuyan (con sus bienes) a la causa de Al-lah y no causen su propia destrucción (no contribuyendo a ella ni luchando por ella). Y obren el bien; en verdad, Al-lah ama a los bienhechores.

The Command to spend in the Cause of Allah
Al-Bukhari recorded that Hudhayfah said:
وَأَنفِقُواْ فِى سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ وَلاَ تُلْقُواْ بِأَيْدِيكُمْ إِلَى التَّهْلُكَةِ
(And spend in the cause of Allah and do not throw yourselves into destruction.) "It was revealed about spending." Ibn Abu Hatim reported
