ٱلَّذِينَ
ءَاتَيۡنَٰهُمُ
ٱلۡكِتَٰبَ
يَتۡلُونَهُۥ
حَقَّ
تِلَاوَتِهِۦٓ
أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ
يُؤۡمِنُونَ
بِهِۦۗ
وَمَن
يَكۡفُرۡ
بِهِۦ
فَأُوْلَٰٓئِكَ
هُمُ
ٱلۡخَٰسِرُونَ
١٢١
Aquellos (de entre los judíos y cristianos) a quienes concedimos las Escrituras1 y las recitan como es debido (legalizando lo que Al-lah ha hecho lícito y prohibiendo lo que Al-lah ha hecho ilícito, sin distorsionar su contenido), esos creen verdaderamente en ellas (y creen en lo que te ha sido relevado a ti, ¡oh, Muhammad!). Y quienes no creen (en lo que te ha sido revelado), esos serán los perdedores.

Ibn Kathir (Abridged)
وَلَن تَرْضَى عَنكَ الْيَهُودُ وَلاَ النَّصَرَى حَتَّى تَتَّبِعَ مِلَّتَهُمْ
(Never will the Jews nor the Christians be pleased with you (O Muhammad ) till you follow their religion.) meaning, `The Jews and the Christians will never be happy with you, O Muhammad! Therefore, do not seek what pleases o
