يا بني اذهبوا فتحسسوا من يوسف واخيه ولا تياسوا من روح الله انه لا يياس من روح الله الا القوم الكافرون

يَـٰبَنِىَّ ٱذْهَبُوا۟ فَتَحَسَّسُوا۟ مِن يُوسُفَ وَأَخِيهِ وَلَا تَا۟يْـَٔسُوا۟ مِن رَّوْحِ ٱللَّهِ ۖ إِنَّهُۥ لَا يَا۟يْـَٔسُ مِن رَّوْحِ ٱللَّهِ إِلَّا ٱلْقَوْمُ ٱلْكَـٰفِرُونَ

Have you considered Allah's compassion for us?

In moments of remorse, sometimes we lose hope in ArRahman's mercy. We think we are irredeemable and lost forever, overwhelmed by the things we've done. Yet we are aware of Allah's mercy; he is the Most Merciful, after all. But our hearts may still die out from regret. Yet there is an incredible compassion in how Allah brings us out of hopelessness in the Quran. These are how it feels reading the following verses:

39:53: "Never lose hope in the mercy of Allah."

12:87: "Never lose hope in the mercy of Allah!"

The first feels as if Allah is cutting through our remorse to remind us not to lose hope; that He can forgive it all. But we may err again, lose hope once more, forget once more. The second part feels aggressively compassionate: "Only the disbelievers lose hope in Allah's mercy!" It feels like a strong push out of sadness, and you can do nothing but smile, knowing the lengths Allah will go to save you from your hopelessness. 

That you have no choice but to have hope in Allah's mercy. I think many of us live our lives in fear of Allah's punishment, in fear of doing wrong, that we forget just how much mercy, kindness, and compassion Allah has for us.

بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ الرَّحْمَـٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ

A few days ago… I was feeling this strange, hollow emptiness in my heart.

It wasn’t like anything major had happened—I was doing everything normally. But deep inside… I just felt off. Like something was missing. My Īmān was going up and down, like waves crashing without direction. There were moments where I genuinely felt alone. Not physically… but spiritually. I kept thinking: 'I wish I had someone to go on this Īmān journey with. A group of people that actually care about helping each other grow closer to Allah ﷻ.'

Then something happened. For no clear reason, I opened my laptop and went to Quran.com, but it started glitching and buffering. I pressed a few buttons aimlessly—my screen froze. Then, suddenly, without even meaning to… it redirected me to Quran Reflect.

I had never been there before.

And subḥānAllāh... I can’t even describe how it made me feel.

It was like Allah ﷻ had answered a silent duʿā’ in my heart. He made my laptop glitch just to guide me to exactly what I needed—a community of believers striving for His sake. I saw people reflecting, helping each other, lifting each other, loving for the sake of Allah alone. It felt so pure. So real. And it reminded me that I’m never truly alone. Allah is always guiding—even through a frozen screen.

There are many āyāt I could mention, but one left me stunned — it pierced my heart:

قَدْ نَرَىٰ تَقَلُّبَ وَجْهِكَ فِي السَّمَاءِ ۖ فَلَنُوَلِّيَنَّكَ قِبْلَةً تَرْضَاهَا
'Indeed, We see you [O Prophet] turning your face toward the heaven. So We will surely turn you to a qiblah that will please you.'
— [Al-Baqarah 2:144]

The Prophet ﷺ didn't even utter a word. He just looked to the sky — and Allah saw him.
He knew what was in his heart. He heard the unspoken plea. And He responded.

If Allah responded to a look, then what about our sighs, our tears, our quiet pain — our longing?

He is Al-Laṭīf (The Subtle), Al-Khabīr (The All-Aware). He knows. He hears. He answers — even when we don’t realize we’re asking.

And then He tells us, in His own words:

'...Do not despair of the mercy of Allah...'
— [Az-Zumar 39:53]

'...Do not despair of relief from Allah...'
— [Yūsuf 12:87]

What more could our hearts need?

يَا الله...
I ask You from the depths of my heart:
🌿 Unite us all in Jannatul Firdaws,
☝️ Place us beside our beloved Prophet ﷺ,
💧 Let us drink from his blessed hands,
and never again let us feel far from Your mercy.

آمِين يَا رَبَّ ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ.

Ameen 
بَارَكَ اللّٰهُ لَكَ

In the name of Allah ,the Most Merciful ,the Especially Merciful .

رمضان مبارک!
Limitations:

How often do we call people to prayer especially our loved ones and their response is not always positive , often. They neglect or even miss the prayer and we feel disappointed and hopeless.

But why do we feel that way?

Who are we to lose hope in someone when Allah SWT hasn’t lose hope in them ! 

When our loved ones don’t pray, it hurts because we want them closer to Allah. But Allah is الخالق (The Creator). He knows His creation, their personalities, and what will guide them to prayer.

We make du’a for their guidance, but when we don’t see immediate results, we feel discouraged. However, our role is not to carry the burden of outcomes—it is simply to:
اُدْعُ إِلَى اللّٰہِ — Call to Allah.


 We must keep asking without limiting our du’as. Allah knows the unseen; we do not. He has fashioned every soul and will guide them in the best way, at the best time—not just for them, but for all. .


So, let’s sincerely pray for our loved ones, make efforts, and leave the rest to Allah Almighty. May He guide us all, keep us steadfast, and grant us Taqwa.

Ameen, Ya Rabbal ‘Alameen!


Ya Rabbi, I feel like I’m falling behind. 

No matter how hard I try, my efforts seem fruitless. Doubt creeps in, and the uncertainty of life overwhelms me. I see others receiving with ease what I’ve been striving for, and the wait feels endless.

But I remind myself— Your timing is perfect.

I may grow weary of asking, but You never tire of giving. Just as You granted Prophet Zakariya (AS) a child in his old age, I trust that my prayers are heard, even when I don’t see the answers yet.

Ya Allah, strengthen my heart in this waiting. Make me steadfast in my efforts and patient in my prayers. Let me find peace in Your decree.

 You never delay, except for what is best for me.

Prophet Yaqub (alayhis salaam) shows stubborn optimism in Allah. For Allah does for his servant as the servant thinks he can do. Despite the years have passed and no sign of his son and his deep sorrow. He doesn't let that cloud his judgement and keeps thinking good of God's mercy. We as believers should never despair on what we think God can do for us out of his mercy. Disbelievers on the other hand have a reason to despair.

Some days you'll feel like a deflated balloon. Like all energy and motivation has been sapped out of you. You want to hide away and avoid life. We've all been there. 

But hopelessness has never been an option for the believer, and it's not an option for you. This doesn't mean you have to put on an act and pretend to be the happiest person in the world. This doesn't mean you're not allowed to feel sad. But it does mean that you have to reach deep inside of your heart and remove whatever it is that is telling you that things will never get better.

Satan will always want the believer to feel hopeless and miserable, to regret the past, to be paralyzed in the present, to be anxious about the future.

But push those feelings out of your heart and replace them hope and trust in Allah. Know that Allah hears you, He loves to forgive, He responds to duas, and He can open doors that seem hopelessly closed. Assume the best about Allah and never lose hope in His ability to transform your life.

Alhamdullilah. May Allah cover you with His Mercy and replace your troubles with infinite peace and tranquility. Ameen

'Do not lose hope in the Mercy of Allah'
This is not just a simple motivational phrase meant to give us a quick hit of inspiration. These are the words of a Prophet of Allah commanding us to not to lose hope in Allah's mercy and a reminder that no one loses hope in His mercy except for those who have no faith. 

These are very specific words that Allah chose to place in the Quran, from amongst His infinite words, for us to internalize. 

Sadness and anxiety floods our hearts when we lose hope in the mercy of Allah. There's a saying that goes,

'The best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago.

The second best time is now'.

Even if you lived a life of neglect for the last 20 years and are now depressed and anxious over having wasted so much time and having made so many mistakes, never lose hope in the mercy of Allah. 

Living in regret will not change the past, but having hope in Allah's mercy can change your future.

Maybe it's not the last 20 years you regret, but the past month, or the past week, or the past few hours of your day today.

You can choose to loathe yourself and consider yourself a failure, or you can get up right now and get to work with a heart filled with hope, optimism, and faith. 

Even if you have lost all hope in your own abilities, know that your faith and future is not dependent upon having hope in yourself. Submit your heart to the One who it belongs to, allow it to be renewed and filled with hope, and use this hope in Him as the fuel that propels you forward into taking action and making positive changes.

It is that hope in Allah that will give you the strength to overcome the sorrow of not having planted that tree 20 years ago, and the courage, inspiration, and faith to plant it today.

This past decade has been tough for our ummah and humanity. Freedom movements that were crushed in the Middle East, Muslim persecution and oppression in China, Myanmar, Kashmir, and Africa, Anti-Muslim policies and islamophobia rampant in the West, bigoted and hawkish leaders in most of the world.

That said what we should be asking ourselves first and foremost is whether we are succeeding in this test? do we deserve to be empowered? Do we have doubt that victory is fully under Allah’s control? Are we in despair (did we lose hope in Allah’s mercy?

If we truly believe that Allah - exalted is he - is in control, then we would view the ups and downs as a test and ask ourselves where do we stand and what are we doing individually and as a community and are we putting our all to make a difference (they way we do in our jobs).

So renew your faith in Allah, be steadfast on his path, and be hopeful. Insha’Allah the #NewYear and #NewDecade will carry success for us and our ummah, and more importantly, firmness in our believe and hope regardless of outcomes, because we know he is in control, knows what is best for us, and that the hereafter is the permanent home.

Have firm belief and remember... (from cited ayahs)

And do not lose hope in the mercy of Allah, for no one loses hope in Allah’s mercy except those with no faith.

The ˹whole˺ matter rests with Allah before and after ˹victory˺. And on that day the believers will rejoice

Do not falter or grieve, for you will have the upper hand, if you are ˹true˺ believers.

We alternate these days ˹of victory and defeat˺ among people so that Allah may reveal the ˹true˺ believers, choose martyrs from among you.

We look towards those we think can help us, have unspoken expectations, and are deeply hurt when we feel let down. But the treasure of the heavens and earth, keys for our health, happiness, well-being, and sustenance, are with Allah Subhanu Ta'ala.  

We keep having these expectations from people, though we shouldn't, and when it comes to having good expectations from Allah Subhanu Ta'ala, we try to become practical because it didn't happen yet and seems impossible, though we are taught to have the best expectations of Allah Subhanu Ta'ala. 

Narrated Abu Huraira:

The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Allah says, 'I am just as My slave thinks I am (i.e., I am able to do for him what he thinks I can do for him), and I am with him if he remembers Me. If he remembers Me in himself, I too, remember him in Myself; and if he remembers Me in a group of people, I remember him in a group that is better than they; and if he comes one span nearer to Me, I go one cubit nearer to him; and if he comes one cubit nearer to Me, I go a distance of two outstretched arms nearer to him; and if he comes to Me walking, I go to him running.' (Bukhari: 7405)

This whole experience teaches us that every blessing our heart yearns for and every problem that we want to get rid of are all in Allah's control. May He give us peace of heart and afiyah so that we remain hopeful, turn to Him, and are at peace always, ameen.

Yaqub (pbuh) gave the best lesson as he taught his sons to be hopeful of Allah's Mercy at every point of Life, because this 'HOPE' from Allah s.w.t is what distinguish us from non-believers. And not just it, but also striving for what you believe in, even when all the circumstances seems to be denying of What you are trying for !! 
The other best Inspiration I get from Ahsanul Qasas(Surah Yusuf) is to NOT complain of our griefs to anyone except Allah(s.w.t). People can never comprehend the Intensity of your grief nor they can lessen it, rather they sometimes judge you and can make statements which can worsen it even more. But, only Allah (s.w.t) can fully understand you when you pour out your tears and pain infront of him and he with his Infinite Mercy and Wisdom, he strengthens your heart such that it becomes easier for you in addition to removing those difficulties and replacing/rewarding  it with the Best. 

Surah Yusuf is one of my favourite Surah because it teaches us the best lessons and guides us to be patient at difficult times and to be Humble and Grateful at the best times ♥️
