When you’re standing there, in the open court of Allah, under His shining light, exposed with nowhere to hide, your book of evidence opened for scrutiny, and shortly after witnesses are called to give their testimony, ask yourself this 'Will they be testifying for me, or against me?' Remember, none will be wronged.

'The earth will shine with the light of its Lord' 
On Judgement Day, imagine that the earth will be shining with Allah's light... The Arabic version is linguistically sublime and simple.  You cannot but feel a sense of hope, knowing that Allah's light will be so strong that the earth itself will be shining with it.  Light is often contrasted with darkness; light as guidance; as mercy; as hope. May Allah guide us with His light, with His Guidance. Amen
