وقل للمومنات يغضضن من ابصارهن ويحفظن فروجهن ولا يبدين زينتهن الا ما ظهر منها وليضربن بخمرهن على جيوبهن ولا يبدين زينتهن الا لبعولتهن او ابايهن او اباء بعولتهن او ابنايهن او ابناء بعولتهن او اخوانهن او بني اخوانهن او بني اخواتهن او نسايهن او ما ملكت ايمانهن او التابعين غير اولي الاربة من الرجال او الطفل الذين لم يظهروا على عورات النساء ولا يضربن بارجلهن ليعلم ما يخفين من زينتهن وتوبوا الى الله جميعا ايه المومنون لعلكم تفلحون ٣١

وَقُل لِّلْمُؤْمِنَـٰتِ يَغْضُضْنَ مِنْ أَبْصَـٰرِهِنَّ وَيَحْفَظْنَ فُرُوجَهُنَّ وَلَا يُبْدِينَ زِينَتَهُنَّ إِلَّا مَا ظَهَرَ مِنْهَا ۖ وَلْيَضْرِبْنَ بِخُمُرِهِنَّ عَلَىٰ جُيُوبِهِنَّ ۖ وَلَا يُبْدِينَ زِينَتَهُنَّ إِلَّا لِبُعُولَتِهِنَّ أَوْ ءَابَآئِهِنَّ أَوْ ءَابَآءِ بُعُولَتِهِنَّ أَوْ أَبْنَآئِهِنَّ أَوْ أَبْنَآءِ بُعُولَتِهِنَّ أَوْ إِخْوَٰنِهِنَّ أَوْ بَنِىٓ إِخْوَٰنِهِنَّ أَوْ بَنِىٓ أَخَوَٰتِهِنَّ أَوْ نِسَآئِهِنَّ أَوْ مَا مَلَكَتْ أَيْمَـٰنُهُنَّ أَوِ ٱلتَّـٰبِعِينَ غَيْرِ أُو۟لِى ٱلْإِرْبَةِ مِنَ ٱلرِّجَالِ أَوِ ٱلطِّفْلِ ٱلَّذِينَ لَمْ يَظْهَرُوا۟ عَلَىٰ عَوْرَٰتِ ٱلنِّسَآءِ ۖ وَلَا يَضْرِبْنَ بِأَرْجُلِهِنَّ لِيُعْلَمَ مَا يُخْفِينَ مِن زِينَتِهِنَّ ۚ وَتُوبُوٓا۟ إِلَى ٱللَّهِ جَمِيعًا أَيُّهَ ٱلْمُؤْمِنُونَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُفْلِحُونَ ٣١

وَقُل

لِّلۡمُؤۡمِنَٰتِ

يَغۡضُضۡنَ

مِنۡ

أَبۡصَٰرِهِنَّ

وَيَحۡفَظۡنَ

فُرُوجَهُنَّ

وَلَا

يُبۡدِينَ

زِينَتَهُنَّ

إِلَّا

مَا

ظَهَرَ

مِنۡهَاۖ

وَلۡيَضۡرِبۡنَ

بِخُمُرِهِنَّ

عَلَىٰ

جُيُوبِهِنَّۖ

وَلَا

يُبۡدِينَ

زِينَتَهُنَّ

إِلَّا

لِبُعُولَتِهِنَّ

أَوۡ

ءَابَآئِهِنَّ

أَوۡ

ءَابَآءِ

بُعُولَتِهِنَّ

أَوۡ

أَبۡنَآئِهِنَّ

أَوۡ

أَبۡنَآءِ

بُعُولَتِهِنَّ

أَوۡ

إِخۡوَٰنِهِنَّ

أَوۡ

بَنِيٓ

إِخۡوَٰنِهِنَّ

أَوۡ

بَنِيٓ

أَخَوَٰتِهِنَّ

أَوۡ

نِسَآئِهِنَّ

أَوۡ

مَا

مَلَكَتۡ

أَيۡمَٰنُهُنَّ

أَوِ

ٱلتَّٰبِعِينَ

غَيۡرِ

أُوْلِي

ٱلۡإِرۡبَةِ

مِنَ

ٱلرِّجَالِ

أَوِ

ٱلطِّفۡلِ

ٱلَّذِينَ

لَمۡ

يَظۡهَرُواْ

عَلَىٰ

عَوۡرَٰتِ

ٱلنِّسَآءِۖ

وَلَا

يَضۡرِبۡنَ

بِأَرۡجُلِهِنَّ

لِيُعۡلَمَ

مَا

يُخۡفِينَ

مِن

زِينَتِهِنَّۚ

وَتُوبُوٓاْ

إِلَى

ٱللَّهِ

جَمِيعًا

أَيُّهَ

ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنُونَ

لَعَلَّكُمۡ

تُفۡلِحُونَ

٣١

And tell the believing women to lower their gaze and guard their chastity, and not to reveal their adornments¹ except what normally appears.² Let them draw their veils over their chests, and not reveal their ˹hidden˺ adornments³ except to their husbands, their fathers, their fathers-in-law, their sons, their stepsons, their brothers, their brothers’ sons or sisters’ sons, their fellow women, those ˹bondwomen˺ in their possession, male attendants with no desire, or children who are still unaware of women’s nakedness. Let them not stomp their feet, drawing attention to their hidden adornments. Turn to Allah in repentance all together, O believers, so that you may be successful.

Sahih al-Bukhari 1927

Narrated `Aisha:

The Prophet (ﷺ) used to kiss and embrace (his wives) while he was fasting, and he had more power to control his desires than any of you. Said Jabir, "The person who gets discharge after casting a look (on his wife) should complete his fast."

Sahih al-Bukhari 4758

Narrated `Aishah:

May Allah bestow His Mercy on the early emigrant women. When Allah revealed: "... and to draw their veils all over their Juyubihinna (i.e., their bodies, faces, necks and bosoms)..." (V.24:31) they tore their Murat (woolen dresses or waist-binding clothes or aprons etc.) and covered their heads and faces with those torn Muruts.

Sahih al-Bukhari 4759

Narrated Safiya bint Shaiba:

`Aisha used to say: "When (the Verse): "They should draw their veils over their necks and bosoms," was revealed, (the ladies) cut their waist sheets at the edges and covered their heads and faces with those cut pieces of cloth."

He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
