45:14
قل للذين امنوا يغفروا للذين لا يرجون ايام الله ليجزي قوما بما كانوا يكسبون ١٤
قُل لِّلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ يَغْفِرُوا۟ لِلَّذِينَ لَا يَرْجُونَ أَيَّامَ ٱللَّهِ لِيَجْزِىَ قَوْمًۢا بِمَا كَانُوا۟ يَكْسِبُونَ ١٤

Dis à ceux qui ont cru de pardonner à ceux qui n’espèrent pas les jours d’Allah afin qu’Il rétribue [chaque] peuple pour les acquis qu’ils faisaient. 1

Explication

These readings amount to the same meaning, referring to Allah's requital of the unbelievers. Abū Jaʿfar's reading has several grammatical explanations, though the norm with the passive verb is to have its subject in the nominative (hence qawmun) [see al-Alusi].
