'Rizq is in the hands of God'
I missed an easy 25yard shot on a big buck the other day. I was really upset at myself, constantly replaying in my head what I should or could have done differently, even lost sleep over it!
My mom reminded me, as she often does : وَفِي السَّمَاءِ رِزْقُكُمْ وَمَا تُوعَدُونَ

'And on the earth are signs for those who have certainty.' (51:20)
The earth is filled with signs for those who seek certainty. Every element of creation, from the vast mountains to the smallest creatures, points to the power and wisdom of Allah. These signs are not just random occurrences but deliberate reminders placed in the world for those who reflect.
'And in your own selves—then will you not see?' (51:21)
Beyond the signs in the world...

Subhanallah in these verses I found a connection between the ‘mutaqeen’ - those who are mindful of God and their characteristics explained in these verses and the direct promise of God to provide for us - a promise as true as our ability to speak !
God makes this promise very tangible for us because He knows as humans we may always worry about securing provision.
