ان الله لا يظلم مثقال ذرة وان تك حسنة يضاعفها ويوت من لدنه اجرا عظيما ٤٠

إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يَظْلِمُ مِثْقَالَ ذَرَّةٍۢ ۖ وَإِن تَكُ حَسَنَةًۭ يُضَـٰعِفْهَا وَيُؤْتِ مِن لَّدُنْهُ أَجْرًا عَظِيمًۭا ٤٠

اِنَّ

اللّٰهَ

لَا

یَظْلِمُ

مِثْقَالَ

ذَرَّةٍ ۚ

وَاِنْ

تَكُ

حَسَنَةً

یُّضٰعِفْهَا

وَیُؤْتِ

مِنْ

لَّدُنْهُ

اَجْرًا

عَظِیْمًا

۟

আল্লাহ অণু পরিমাণও যুলম করেন না, আর কোন পুণ্য কাজ হলে তাকে তিনি দ্বিগুণ করেন এবং নিজের নিকট হতেও বিরাট পুরস্কার দান করেন।

“But if (that speck) should be a good deed…”

In this reading, the noun is accusative as the predicate of kāna (i.e. taku), linking back to the measure of “a speck”.

حَسَنَةٌ

ḥasanatun

“But if (you do) any good deed”

In this reading, the noun is nominative as the subject of kāna with the sense of “if it should exist/occur”.

ব্যাখ্যা

These readings are complementary in meaning, and denote how God guarantees the reward for every good deed, no matter how small.

He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
