ذالك عيسى ابن مريم قول الحق الذي فيه يمترون ٣٤

ذَٰلِكَ عِيسَى ٱبْنُ مَرْيَمَ ۚ قَوْلَ ٱلْحَقِّ ٱلَّذِى فِيهِ يَمْتَرُونَ ٣٤

عِیْسَی

ابْنُ

مَرْیَمَ ۚ

قَوْلَ

الْحَقِّ

الَّذِیْ

فِیْهِ

یَمْتَرُوْنَ

۟

এই হচ্ছে মারইয়াম-পুত্র ঈসা, (এটাই) সত্য কথা যে বিষয়ে লোকেরা সন্দেহ পোষণ করে।

قَوۡلَ ٱلۡحَقِّ

qawla l-ḥaqqi

“(I say) a word of Truth”

This emphasises the previous statement by way of a cognate accusative.

قَوۡلُ ٱلۡحَقِّ

qawlu l-ḥaqqi

“(It/he is) a word of Truth”

This is the predicate to an implied subject, referring either to the statement, or to Jesus (pbuh) himself.

These readings are near-identical, or complementary in meaning [Makki].

He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
