والله يقضي بالحق والذين يدعون من دونه لا يقضون بشيء ان الله هو السميع البصير ٢٠

وَٱللَّهُ يَقْضِى بِٱلْحَقِّ ۖ وَٱلَّذِينَ يَدْعُونَ مِن دُونِهِۦ لَا يَقْضُونَ بِشَىْءٍ ۗ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ هُوَ ٱلسَّمِيعُ ٱلْبَصِيرُ ٢٠

وَاللّٰهُ

یَقْضِیْ

بِالْحَقِّ ؕ

وَالَّذِیْنَ

یَدْعُوْنَ

مِنْ

دُوْنِهٖ

لَا

یَقْضُوْنَ

بِشَیْءٍ ؕ

اِنَّ

اللّٰهَ

هُوَ

السَّمِیْعُ

الْبَصِیْرُ

۟۠

আল্লাহ হক্ব বিচার করেন। তারা আল্লাহর পরিবর্তে যাদেরকে ডাকে তারা মোটেই বিচার করতে পারে না। আল্লাহ সব কিছু শোনেন, সব কিছু দেখেন।

This reading refers to the polytheists in the third person.

تَدۡعُونَ

tadʿūna

“whatever you (pl.) invoke”

In this reading, it is implied that the Prophet ﷺ should address these words to the polytheists.

ব্যাখ্যা

These readings convey the same meaning in slightly different ways [al-Mahdawi].

He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
