تشدّني بقوة عبارة الله تعالى: ﴿إِنَّ نَاشِئَةَ اللَّيْلِ هِيَ أَشَدُّ وَطْئًا وَأَقْوَمُ قِيلًا﴾.
وأتساءل: لماذا يكون الليل أقوم قيلاً؟
لأن سكون الليل يصفّي القلب، ويجمع شتات النفس، ويجعل ما نقوله بين يدي الله أصدق وأعمق. الليل يعيد تنظيم ما بعثره النهار.

ثم يقول الله: ﴿وَاذْكُرِ اسْمَ رَبِّكَ﴾، وبعدها مباشرة يذكر اسمًا واحدًا فقط في هذا المقطع كله: ﴿فَاتَّخِذْهُ وَكِيلًا﴾.
وهذا يدفعني للتفكّر: لماذا اختار الله هذا الاسم بالذات؟ ولماذا بعد أمر الذِّكر مباشرة؟

لأن الذكر الحقيقي يقود إلى الثقة، ولأن من يذكر الله حقًّا لا بد أن يسلمه أمره. لم يختر الله أي اسم آخر هنا سوى الوكيل—الذي يتولّى شؤونك كلّها بحكمة كاملة.
وكأن الله يقول لي: إذا كان في قلبك توكّل، فسيتولّى الله ترتيب كل أمرك.

فالتوكّل هو ما يجعل الإنسان أقوم قيلاً—أثبت، وأقوى، وأسير على الصراط المستقيم بقلب مطمئن. هو الثبات الداخلي الذي يمنح الطريق وضوحه.

طهّر ليلك، واذكر ربك، ثم فوّض أمرك إلى الوكيل—وسترى كيف تستقيم خطواتك، وينفتح الطريق أمامك.

 اللهم اجعلنا وإياكم من القوّامين المتوكّلين عليك حق التوكل. آمين.



One phrase that deeply stands out to me is Allah’s statement: “Indeed, the rising of the night is stronger in impression and more upright in speech (aqwamu qilan).” It makes me pause and ask: Why is the night so uniquely powerful? Because at night, when the world quiets down, the heart steadies, the soul softens, and what we say to Allah comes out straighter, truer, and more aligned. The night realigns what the day scatters.

Then Allah says: “Remember the name of your Lord…” And immediately after that, He chooses only one Name to mention in the entire passage: al-Wakeel.
And that makes me wonder: Why this name? Why here? Why right after the command to remember Him?

Because if I truly remember Allah, the next natural step is to trust Him. Allah did not choose any other Name in this moment except al-Wakeel—the One who perfectly manages all affairs.
It’s as if Allah is telling me: If you have tawakkul, everything else will fall into place.

Tawakkul is what makes a person aqwam—upright, steady, strong, and firm on the path toward Allah. It’s the inner anchoring that keeps the heart from shaking and the soul from wandering.

Purify your nights, remember your Lord, and then hand your life over to al-Wakeel—and watch how your steps straighten and your path clears.

May Allah make us and you from among the qawwameen and the truly mutawakkileen. Ameen.

نفع الله بك اخية وبارك فيك وجزاك خيرا 

#أقوم_قيلا ​ ​

تبدأ سورة المزمل بخطاب حانٍ: “يَا أَيُّهَا الْمُزَّمِّلُ”؛ نداء يلفّ النبي ﷺ بالطمأنينة قبل أن يوكله بحمل الدعوة. حين تتعب الروح وتلتف على نفسها بثقل المسؤوليات، يأتي الخطاب ذاته لنا اليوم: الله يراك، ويُهيّئك، ولا يكلفك إلا برفق

ثم يأتي الأمر الإلهي: “قُمِ اللَّيْلَ إِلَّا قَلِيلًا”. لم يكن قيام الليل مطلوبًا للتعب، بل للبناء. فقبل أن يواجه النبي ﷺ الناس، واجه نفسه في الليل. قبل أن يحمل الرسالة على كتفه، حملها قلبه في السجود والدموع والقراءة الهادئة.

وهذا سرّ عظيم: القلوب لا تقوى في النهار إلا بما تأخذه من زاد الليل.

وتكشف السورة عن معنى “القول الثقيل”؛ ليس ثقل الألفاظ، بل ثقل الأمانة، والمسؤولية، وصدق البلاغ. ولأن الحمل ثقيل، اختصّ الله الليل بهذا الشرف: “أَشَدُّ وَطْئًا وَأَقْوَمُ قِيلًا”.

إنه وقت الصفاء، حيث تختفي الأصوات الخارجية، ليعلو صوت الداخل: صوت الإيمان

ومع امتلاء النهار بالمهام، تذكّر الآية: “إِنَّ لَكَ فِي النَّهَارِ سَبْحًا طَوِيلًا”. وكأن الله يقول:لا تُدار مشاغل النهار بلا سند، ولا تُحتمَل ضغوط الحياة دون خلوة .

وتأتي الآيات الأخيرة بفلسفة تربوية عظيمة:ذكرٌ، وتبتّل، واعتماد على الله، وصبر على أذى الناس، ثم ترك الظالمين لله، لأنه الأعلم و الأقدر.
هذه الآيات تُربّي فينا شيئًا نحتاجه اليوم:

أن تكون علاقتنا بالقرآن علاقة عيش لا حفظ، وأن يكون ليلنا بوابة نهارنا، وأن نرجع إلى الله كلما أرهقتنا الحياة، فالقيام يعيد ترتيب الداخل ليُصلح الخارج.

حين أتدبر الآيات (1–11) من سورة المزمل، أراها مشروعًا ربانيًا لتربية الإنسان في زمن كثرة الانشغال. تبدأ السورة بخطاب يلمس الوجدان: “يَا أَيُّهَا الْمُزَّمِّلُ”، خطاب يأتي في لحظة تعب، ليعلن أن الإصلاح يبدأ من الداخل قبل الخارج.

ثم يوجه الله نبيه ﷺ لبرنامج عملي واضح:
قيام ليل، ترتيل قرآن، ذكرٌ وتبتّل، ثم عملٌ وصبر في النهار. وكأن السورة تقول:
لا تبدأ نهارك قبل أن تقيم ليلك.

الآية “إِنَّ نَاشِئَةَ اللَّيْلِ هِيَ أَشَدُّ وَطْئًا” تكشف السرّ؛ الليل ليس وقتًا باردًا للنوم فقط، بل لحظة تصنع فيها نفسك الجديدة. في قيام الليل، يثبت المعنى في القلب أكثر مما يثبته درسٌ أو موعظة؛ فالهدوء يصنع فهمًا لا يصنعه الضجيج.

واليوم، مع كثرة الملهيات، وضعف التركيز، وتسارع الحياة، نشعر بثقل المسؤوليات. ومع ذلك، لم تتركنا الآيات بلا حل:
“وَتَبَتَّلْ إِلَيْهِ تَبْتِيلًا” — افصل قلبك عن ازدحام الدنيا ولو لوقت قصير.
“وَاصْبِرْ عَلَى مَا يَقُولُونَ” — لأن طريق الحق لا يخلو من نقد أو استهزاء.
“فَاتَّخِذْهُ وَكِيلًا” — لأن كل ضعف يمكن أن ينهض إذا أسلمت أمرك لله.

وفي الآية “إِنَّ لَكَ فِي النَّهَارِ سَبْحًا طَوِيلًا” معنى بليغ:
لن يقلّ شغلك في النهار، لكن يمكن أن يقوى قلبك على احتماله إن كان ليلك عامرًا بالقرآن.

هذا المنهج القرآني يقدّم تربية متكاملة:
ليلٌ للتزكية، ونهارٌ للعمل، وصبرٌ على الطريق، وتوكّل يملأ القلب.
هكذا تُبنى الأمة، وهكذا يُعاد تشكيل علاقة المؤمن بالقرآن في زمن الفوضى.

تسلسل الأفكار واضح، واللغة مؤثرة، والربط بين المعنى القرآني وواقع المسلم اليوم جاء بطريقة راقية تُلهم على العمل لا مجرد المعرفة.

يَا أَيُّهَا الْمُزَّمِّلُ… كانت هذه الآيات دعوة للرسول ﷺ بعد ما لاقاه من تكذيب قومه وجهلهم، فأُمر بقيام الليل، وبترتيل القرآن ترتيلًا؛ لأن الليل أشدُّ وطئًا، وأقربُ إلى حضور القلب، وأقومُ قولًا.
والمتأمّل يلحظ أن الترتيل في القرآن يأتي في مقابل الهجران؛ فالهجران تركٌ للقرآن، أمّا الترتيل فهو إقبالٌ عليه تلاوةً وتدبّرًا وعملاً.
ويظهر هذا المعنى في شكوى النبي ﷺ من هجر قومه للقرآن، إذ قال تعالى: ﴿وَقالَ الرَّسولُ يا رَبِّ إِنَّ قَومِي اتَّخَذوا هذَا القُرآنَ مَهجورًا﴾، ثم قال بعدها ردًّا على اعتراض المشركين على نزول القرآن مفرّقًا:﴿وَقالَ الَّذينَ كَفَروا لَولا نُزِّلَ عَلَيهِ القُرآنُ جُملَةً واحِدَةً ۚ كَذلِكَ لِنُثَبِّتَ بِهِ فُؤادَكَ ۖ وَرَتَّلناهُ تَرتيلًا﴾.
فجاء الترتيل هنا وسيلةً للتثبيت، وجبرًا لأثر التكذيب والهجران؛ ليكون قيام الليل مصدرًا لشحن القلب بالطاقة الروحية، وتعميق التدبر، وزيادة القرب من الله تعالى.
وهذه الدعوة ليست مقصورة على الرسول ﷺ، بل هي منهجٌ لكل مسلم؛ فثبات القلب وطمأنينته إنما تكون بترتيل القرآن، وتدبّره، والقيام بين يدي الله في جوف الليل.

تدبّر جميل يُظهر الرابط بين قيام الليل وترتيل القرآن وأثرهما في تثبيت القلب، كما يربط بلطف بين شكوى الهجران وبين التهيئة الربانية للنبي ﷺ بالتدرّج في الوحي. طرحٌ متوازن وواضح، وفيه لفتة موفّقة إلى أن هذا المنهج يشمل كل مسلم. أحسنتِ، وبارك الله في تدبّرك.


يَا أَيُّهَا الْمُزَّمِّلُ

كان هذا النداء في مطلع الوحي، دعوةً للقيام بالليل، وتزكية النفس، وحمل الأمانة الإلهية

كانت سورة المزّمّل حجر الأساس في إعداد النبي ﷺ وهو يتلقّى مهمة الدعوة إلى الله،  بقلبٍ مُستنيرٍ بنور الوحي

فمهمة البلاغ والإنذار لم تبدأ بوضع سياسات جديدة، ولا بصياغة كلمات الدعوة بعناية… بل بدأت بالخلوة مع القرآن في جوف الليل.

ويا لها من تذكرة لنا اليوم، في زمنٍ يعجُّ بالضوضاء والانشغال، بأن النهضة تبدأ في الساعات الخفيّة. {إن ناشئة الليل هي أشد وطأ وأقومُ قيلا} هي دعوة لنا: أن نجعل القرآن محورَ حياتنا ومنارَ دربنا.

يعلّمنا الله في هذه الآيات أن حمل رسالته يبدأ أولاً بتزكية النفس، والقيام، والتأمل والتضرع إلى الله في جوف الليل.

ففي تلك الساعات الهادئة يعيد الله بناء القلب
 ليجعله ثابتًا على حمل كلمته، ولتفتح بها أذانا صما وقلوبا غلفا وعيونا عميا

When the people of Ibrahim A.S saw the condition of their idols, they asked each other to burn him to avenge for and help the idols. Those idols  became their liability that they had to help them, underscoring the fact that they cause no benefit or harm on their own. Whereas a believer in His worship asks Allah to help, in our lives and livelihood, for our dreams and aspirations, for our health and hope, in this world and the next.

Allah Ta'ala commanded us to make Him our wakeel , disposer of affairs.  Those who said Hasbun Allah were returned with favours, 

 There is no comparison for Him
 عـٰلم الغيب والشهادة الكبير المتعال 
 
Sometimes the trials we face seems unsurmountable, we feel overwhelmed and hopeless. The problems, the sickness, our own weaknesses may be intense,   but the Quran reminds us we have a Powerful and loving Rabb, He is aware of everything and and whoever trusts Allah, He Subhan Ta'ala suffices him.

Ultimately what Allah wills, will happen inevitably so leaving things in the care of Allah,  having good hopes from Him, focusing on the greatness of Allah , Trusting him and Tasbeeh becomes a source of comfort bi' iznillah.

When Allah is your Wakil then why have anxiety about the future. Make Allah your Wakil by standing up in the night in prayer. Then you will never have bad expectations or bad assumptions about Allah and it will enrich your relationship with Allah. Always have positive thoughts about Allah.

God is the Ultimate Trustee, to whom you can entrust any and all your affairs. God tells us: 'And rely upon the Ever-Living who does not die, and exalt [God] with His praise.' [Qur’an, 25:58] In practical terms, this means two things. Firstly, that we work as hard as we can with the means given to us. God is teaching us through His Names and attributes that we need to work. But being intimately acquainted with God means that conviction, confidence and internal tranquility as we strive, because we have already surrendered to God. And this is the second element. While we work for a particular result through the avenues available to us, we have absolutely no doubt that God will get us through to whatever is best, because indeed He is the Trustee. The 99 Names of Allah

“Life is a transition of days and nights.”

Nights, as we all feel, are calmer, unlike the days, which are full of chaotic, busy routines.
“The quietness of night naturally invites reflection, offering a pause that the hectic day rarely allows.

Most of us, and certainly I feel calmer, less anxious when the world slows, when it is peaceful, not running like a marathon at night.

When the verse says, “O you wrapped in covers, stand in prayers”, it points at leaving the blankets and standing for prayer.
With the word 'blanket' we always think about fabric we cover ourselves with, for warmth, when we sleep..
But, we often wrap ourselves in blankets that is not material or physical.
Anxiety, the chaos, the work, the deadlines we face are also the garments we wear during the day and often carry them into the night, in the form of  stress and worry of tomorrow, that has not yet come.

This verse then probably, is also  a reminder to pause, to leave them, and reconnect with peace. To reconnect with Allah through His remembrance, through Quran and Night prayers.

The Qur’an is the words of God—it is Allah speaking to us. Salah is us speaking to Allah.
In this communication exchange, reading Qur’an is Allah speaking, and Salah we perform is us speaking . It becomes a gentle rhythm, a space where words flow both ways, slowly and patiently, like coming home to someone who truly listens.

And hence,  these verses of Surah Al Muzammil feels like an invitation to leave all worries to Him, to talk to Him, to sit with His words—reading slowly, speaking to Him, and listening to Him. It is like coming home to someone who is waiting for us, someone who will patiently listen, truly listen, without rushing. The word slowly in the verse points to that: this conversation isn’t hurried. Here, we are listened to, understood, and find refuge.

Also, when Allah says He is the Lord of the East and West, it reminds me that there is no particular start or end to this conversation.

His sovereignty over East and West shows us that our conversation with Him is not bound by time or sequence. Whether we begin with prayer or recitation, He is always ready to receive us.

We can begin with reading the Qur’an—listening to Him—or with Salah—speaking to Him. We can talk our hearts out, even if it feels as simple as saying, “Ya Allah, it was a hectic day; I don’t know where to start.”
But, He..He knows, regardless of where we begin, because He is the Lord of the East and West.

The sun rises from the East and sets in the West, isn't something unknown, and He is the Lord of the sun, the East and West—Lord of all directions.

And metaphorically, we are like the sun, rising and setting, and He is our Lord who knows what we have experienced all day and still invites us to speak, to be heard.
This conversation with Allah can encompass the East and West of our day—the start, when we wake, and the end, when we recline to rest.

He calls us to Tahajjud—the quiet night prayer — and it reminds me of the hadith that Allah descends to the lowest heaven in the last part of the night, inviting His servants to turn to Him.
I have heard from elders that ',Tahajjud ' is an invitation, and it feels He descends to lowest heavens to receive us.

This verses are a profound reminder that  night is a sacred space where we can leave behind worries, rise in devotion, and connect fully with Allah. So here, in these quiet hours, our hearts are rebuilt, our souls restored, and we find refuge in His presence.

Wherever we are in our days, Night is a time we recline to homes—a place we belong, leaving the world behind.
And to Him is where we truly belong..He is our soul's home.

O you wrapped ˹in your clothes˺

This was a  call at the dawn of revelation, to rise at night, to purify the soul, and to carry the divine trust. The command to 'rise'. 

Surah Al-Muzzammil was a cornerstone in preparing the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) as he embraced his mission of calling others to Allah, nurturing a heart illuminated with light and steadfast in faith.

The mission to propagate and to warn others did not start on forming new policies, and refining the words to be used in advocacy. 

It started with seclusion, and the Qur’an. 

And what a reminder for us,  in an age of constant noise and distraction, that revival begins in the unseen hours. Aqwam qeela, “most upright in speech”,  is not just a description of the Prophet’s night recitation, but an invitation to us: to realign our words, our worship, and our lives around the Qur’an.

Through these verses, Allah is teaching us that carrying His message requires hearts that are first carried by Him, through prayer, reflection, and devotion in the night.
So tonight, before the world awakes, let your soul awaken.
Stand. Recite. Listen.
For it is in those quiet hours that Allah rebuilds the heart,
making it steady enough to bear His word and tender enough to convey His mercy.
