وسوسة الشيطان في صدر الإنسان بأنواع كثيرة؛ منها: إفساد الإيمان والتشكيك في العقائد، فإن لم يقدر على ذلك أمره بالمعاصي، فإن لم يقدر على ذلك ثبَّطه عن الطاعات، فإن لم يقدر على ذلك أدخل عليه الرياء في الطاعات ليحبطها، فإن سلم من ذلك أدخل عليه العُجب بنفسه واستكثار عمله، ومن ذلك أنه يوقد في القلب نار الحسد والحقد والغضب حتى يقود الإنسان إلى شر الأعمال وأقبح الأحوال. ابن جزي: 2/63.

#وقفة_تدبرية

* ليس الخطر في الوسواس بذاته، فإنَّ الشيطان لا يعدو في وسوسته الصدور، ولكن إن استقر الوسواس في القلب أودى بصاحبه.

* من مداخل الشيطان على بني الإنسان أنه لا يزال يوسوس في صدورهم بإثارة الشُّبُهات وتحريك الشكوك حتى يجنَحوا عن الإيمان، إلى دركاتِ الكفران.

* إن الشيطان لا يمل ولا يسأم من الوسوسة والإفساد، فوجب على العبد ألّا يفتُرَ لسانُه عن ذكر الله؛ وقايةً لنفسه من شروره.

* رُوي أن الشيطان جاثمٌ على قلب ابن آدم؛ فإذا ذكر الله خنَسَ، وإذا غفَلَ وَسوَسَ، فحريٌّ بنا أن نلزم الذكر باللسان والجَنان.

Not every thought in our mind is true or healthy. Some thoughts are whispers that try to plant doubt, sadness, jealousy, or fear within us. This ayah teaches me to become more aware of what I allow into my heart. I can pause, gently question negative thoughts, and seek Allah’s protection instead of believing everything I feel. As humans, we often worry about the future, yet this is where the devil tries to pull us away from the present moment, from gratitude, and from recognizing the countless blessings Allah is already surrounding us with. This ayah reminds me to return to trust, presence, and thankfulness.

In the Name of Allah, the Most Merciful, the Especially Merciful,

I am inclined to remind myself the following after reading this ayah:

If the devil tries to entertain you, do not entertain him. Banish him before he is able to stay.

We are affected by waswas more than we actually realize; the constant negative voice in our head every single day that starts small but keeps getting bigger and bigger as time goes by captures our minds and turns into feelings of being unsafe, low self-esteem, and shaky tawakul. The simplest and most powerful protection is given to us in the form of this beautiful surah. Alhamdulillah.

This Surah is indeed for all of us who unknowingly struggle with the whispers of the evil. Having firm faith and praying with sincerity and devotion can very well reduce bad thoughts. One would deeply reflect on this Surah as it touches the heart of every muslim who struggles yet still remains steadfast in his faith. May Allah give us patience, and relief from the whispers of the unseen evil. May Allah protect us from the evil of this World and within ourselves. May Allah bless us, keep guiding us and never leave us even for a blink of an eye.

Talk to yourself kindly, talk to yourself with hope, determination and love. For our greatest enemy tries to talks to our hearts with negativity, tries to inspire  hopelessness and tries to make us feel we have little worth. 

Don’t listen to him. We are very much worthy and we are very much capable and we have the ability to make amends because Allah is with us.

Allah the Most Merciful has given us this Blessed Book to understand our self worth. To understand where we belong - one day in Jannah.
