This is one of my favourite Ayahs, especially because of the genocide in Palestine.

When I think about the genocide of the Palestinian people I think back to this Ayah. The plan of the Israeli government and the IDF is of utmost evil, and it may look like they have the upper hand, but we need to remember that Allah is the best of planners, and everything will happen according to what He has decreed.

It is our job to have tawakkul and to make an effort through our actions and our spirituality. We should remember that we are also a part of Allah's plan, and Allah uses us in different ways to enact his plan.

Anyone can plan, but at the end of the day Allah is the best of planners, and it is his plan that is best and will prevail without a doubt.

Barakallahu fiki sister. I need this reminder about Gaza and tawakkul just about every waking hour.

As I recited the Quran this morning, the rhythmic repetition in Verse 54 of Surah Ali 'Imran caught my attention.. Little did I know, it held the profound wisdom we needed in our current situation.

وَمَكَرُوا۟ وَمَكَرَ ٱللَّهُ ۖ وَٱللَّهُ خَيْرُ ٱلْمَـٰكِرِينَ 
'And they plotted, and Allah planned. And Allah is the best of planners.' [3:54]

Reflecting on this verse, I'm reminded of the intricate balance between human plans and Allah's divine decree. In the midst of uncertainty, it serves as a comforting embrace, reassuring us that Allah's plans surpass our own.. His knowledge, and wisdom surpass ours, guiding us through challenges with a sense of peace and trust.

In this moment of reflection, I find solace in surrendering to Allah's plan, knowing that His guidance is always perfect. Amidst the pain and helplessness we feel for our brothers and sisters in Palestine and other parts of the world, facing heartless atrocities and oppression, we turn to Allah, seeking solace and strength through our prayers. While we may feel powerless, we find comfort in knowing that Allah hears our supplications and that justice will prevail..

Indeed, the cruel and inhumane actions against believers are part of a larger plan, but Allah's plan is supreme, and victory will ultimately be ours.. May Allah grant us the patience to endure and the strength to persevere, and may He bring peace and justice to the oppressed.

'And whoever puts their trust in Allah then He will be enough for him'

I always thought having tawakul is easy or it had been easier for me when I was able to comprehend the wisdom of Allah..but these past few days told me it wasn't like that.

This gave me a different angle to think. Tawakul is having belief in not being left out by Allah. It is reminding yourself that even you don't know how things will be sorted but He is taking care of it. It is consoling yourself by telling He's there and He has already planned. It is being patient in your trust in Allah.

On the authority of Abu Hurairah (R.A.), who said: The Messenger of Allah (S.A.W.) said: 'Part of the perfection of someone's Islam is his leaving alone that which does not concern him.' Ibn-Majah: 2518)

The damage of being distant from the Qur'an and Sunnah is arguably evident in our surrounding. For instance, people do not hesitate to ask personal questions: when are you getting married? When are you planning to have children? Why did you get a divorce — was it because of physical abuse?! The list of inquisitive questions is endless and absurd.

It is often challenging to ignore and distance yourself from such negative environments. However, it is not impossible when your heart is attached to your Creator. This is because you acknowledge and 'submit' yourself to His 'perfect' planning. 

Ibn Al-Qayyim RA stated, 'Had Allah lifted the veil for his slave and shown him how He handles his affairs for him, and how Allah is more keen for the benefit of the slave than his own self, his heart would have melted out of the love for Allah and would have been torn to pieces out of thankfulness to Allah.'

He الله عزوجل has wisdom behind every delay in your life, so do not let societal pressure overwhelm you. Make dua for the guidance of those who ask such ignornant questions aforementioned.
