وما انت بهاد العمي عن ضلالتهم ان تسمع الا من يومن باياتنا فهم مسلمون ٥٣
وَمَآ أَنتَ بِهَـٰدِ ٱلْعُمْىِ عَن ضَلَـٰلَتِهِمْ ۖ إِن تُسْمِعُ إِلَّا مَن يُؤْمِنُ بِـَٔايَـٰتِنَا فَهُم مُّسْلِمُونَ ٥٣

Nor can you lead the blind out of their misguidance. You can make none hear ˹the truth˺ except those who believe in Our revelations, ˹fully˺ submitting ˹to Allah˺.

bi-hādi l-ʿumyi
“you cannot guide the (spiritually) blind”
This reading is based on an active participle with a ba' particle emphasising negation. The second word is an annexed genitive.
تَهْدِي العُمْيَ
tahdī l-ʿumya
“you will not guide the (spiritually) blind”
This reading has an imperfect verb with its object.
