وَلۡيَخۡشَ
ٱلَّذِينَ
لَوۡ
تَرَكُواْ
مِنۡ
خَلۡفِهِمۡ
ذُرِّيَّةٗ
ضِعَٰفًا
خَافُواْ
عَلَيۡهِمۡ
فَلۡيَتَّقُواْ
ٱللَّهَ
وَلۡيَقُولُواْ
قَوۡلٗا
سَدِيدًا

ತಮ್ಮ ಹಿಂದೆ ಬಲಹೀನರಾದ ಸಂತಾನಗಳನ್ನು ಉಳಿಸಿ ಮರಣ ಹೊಂದುತ್ತಿದ್ದರೆ ಅವರ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಚಿಂತೆಗೀಡಾಗುವವರು (ಅನಾಥ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿ) ಭಯಪಟ್ಟುಕೊಳ್ಳಲಿ. ಹಾಗೆ ಅವರು ಅಲ್ಲಾಹನಲ್ಲಿ ಭಯವಿರಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಿ. ಹಾಗೂ ಮರಣಾಸನ್ನನಿಗೆ (ಉಳಿದವರು) ಸರಿಯಾದ ಉಪದೇಶ ಮಾಡಲಿ.

Sa`id bin Jubayr and Qatadah said, "The idolators used to give adult men a share of inheritance and deprive women and children of it. Allah revealed;
