وَلَن
تَسۡتَطِيعُوٓاْ
أَن
تَعۡدِلُواْ
بَيۡنَ
ٱلنِّسَآءِ
وَلَوۡ
حَرَصۡتُمۡۖ
فَلَا
تَمِيلُواْ
كُلَّ
ٱلۡمَيۡلِ
فَتَذَرُوهَا
كَٱلۡمُعَلَّقَةِۚ
وَإِن
تُصۡلِحُواْ
وَتَتَّقُواْ
فَإِنَّ
ٱللَّهَ
كَانَ
غَفُورٗا
رَّحِيمٗا

ਤੁਹਾਥੋਂ ਇਹ ਕਦੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋ ਸਕੇਗਾ ਕਿ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਪਤਨੀਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਇਕੋ ਜਿਹਾ ਵਿਵਹਾਰ (ਇਨਸਾਫ਼) ਕਰ ਸਕੋ ਭਾਵੇਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਕਿੰਨੀ ਹੀ ਚਾਹਤ ਅਤੇ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਕਰ ਲਵੋ (ਤੁਸੀਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰ ਸਕਦੇ) ਇਸ ਲਈ (ਅੱਲਾਹ ਹੁਕਮ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੇ ਕਿ) ਇਕ ਪਤਨੀ ਵੱਲ ਹੀ ਇੰਨਾ ਉੱਲਰ ਨਾ ਹੋ ਜਾਓ ਕਿ ਦੂਜੀ ਪਤਨੀ ਨੂੰ ਉੱਕਾ ਹੀ ਅੱਧ ਵਿਚਾਲੇ ਲਮਕਦਾ ਛੱਡ ਦਿਓ, ਜੇਕਰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਆਪਣਾ ਇਹ ਵਤੀਰਾ ਠੀਕ ਕਰ ਲਵੋ ਅਤੇ ਅੱਲਾਹ ਤੋਂ ਡਰਦੇ ਰਹੋ ਤਾਂ ਅੱਲਾਹ ਵੀ (ਭੁੱਲਾਂ ਨੂੰ) ਮੁਆਫ਼ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਅਤੇ ਰਹਿਮ ਫ਼ਰਮਾਉਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੇ।
