قَالَ
رَبِّ
ٱجۡعَل
لِّيٓ
ءَايَةٗۖ
قَالَ
ءَايَتُكَ
أَلَّا
تُكَلِّمَ
ٱلنَّاسَ
ثَلَٰثَةَ
أَيَّامٍ
إِلَّا
رَمۡزٗاۗ
وَٱذۡكُر
رَّبَّكَ
كَثِيرٗا
وَسَبِّحۡ
بِٱلۡعَشِيِّ
وَٱلۡإِبۡكَٰرِ

അദ്ദേഹം പറഞ്ഞു: എന്റെ രക്ഷിതാവേ, എനിക്ക് ഒരു അടയാളം ഏര്പെടുത്തിത്തരേണമേ. അല്ലാഹു പറഞ്ഞു: നിനക്കുള്ള അടയാളം ആംഗ്യരൂപത്തിലല്ലാതെ മൂന്നു ദിവസം നീ മനുഷ്യരോട് സംസാരിക്കാതിരിക്കലാകുന്നു. നിന്റെ രക്ഷിതാവിനെ നീ ധാരാളം ഓര്മിക്കുകയും, വൈകുന്നേരവും രാവിലെയും അവന്റെ പരിശുദ്ധിയെ നീ പ്രകീര്ത്തിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുക.
