وَإِذۡ
أَخَذَ
ٱللَّهُ
مِيثَٰقَ
ٱلَّذِينَ
أُوتُواْ
ٱلۡكِتَٰبَ
لَتُبَيِّنُنَّهُۥ
لِلنَّاسِ
وَلَا
تَكۡتُمُونَهُۥ
فَنَبَذُوهُ
وَرَآءَ
ظُهُورِهِمۡ
وَٱشۡتَرَوۡاْ
بِهِۦ
ثَمَنٗا
قَلِيلٗاۖ
فَبِئۡسَ
مَا
يَشۡتَرُونَ

(187) އަދި ފޮތްދެވުނު މީހުންގެކިބައިން (އެބަހީ يهودي ންނާ نصارى އިންގެކިބައިން) ﷲ تعالى عَهْدُ ކަށަވަރު ހިއްޕެވިހިނދު (ހަނދުމަފުޅުކުރައްވާށެވެ!) އެ عَهْدُ ކަށަވަރަކީ ކަލޭމެން އެކަން މީހުންނަށް بَيان ކޮށްދެއްވާށެވެ! (އެބަހީ محمّد ﷺ ގެ رَسول ކަމާއި އެކަލޭގެފާނުންގެ خبر ތައް މީސްތަކުންނަށް بيان ކޮށްދެއްވާށެވެ!) އަދި އެކަން ކަލޭމެން ވަންހަނާ ނުކުރާށެވެ! ދެންފަހެ އެމީހުން އެކަން (އެ عَهْدُ ކަށަވަރު) އެމީހުންގެ ފުރަގަހަށް އެއްލައި ލައިފިއެވެ. (އެމީހުންނަށް ކުރުމަށް އެންގި ކަންތައް ނުކުރިއެވެ.) އަދި ދުނިޔޭގެ ދާދި ކުޑަކުޑަ ފައިދާކޮޅަކަށް އެމީހުން އޭތި ވިއްކައިފިއެވެ. (އޭތި ދީފާ ކުޑަފައިދާކޮޅެއް އެމީހުން ގަނެފިއެވެ. محمّد ގެފާނާބެހޭ خبر ތައް އެމީހުން ވަންހަނާކޮށް މީސްތަކުންނަށް އޮޅުވައިލީއެވެ.) ފަހެ އެމީހުން އެ އެއްޗެއްދީފައި އެގަތް އެތީގެ ނުބައިކަން ބޮޑުވެގެންވެއެވެ.
