Ask ˹them also˺, “Imagine if Allah were to make the day perpetual for you until the Day of Judgment, which god other than Allah could bring you night to rest in? Will you not then see?”

Reflection - changes in the sky.
When we reflect upon the Qur’an for some reason I have tended to observe the sky more and I come to realise that I have taken the night, sky, day, clouds, rain, sun, moon, stars and so on for granted.
In order to teach my children about Allah, I ask my children often, ‘who turned out the lights in the sky? Was it any human?’ And they reply together ‘no!!...
These verses are a reminder of Allah's might and power. The very natural phenomenon that dictates a huge part of our human physiology (night and day-circadian rhythm). Our power is in submitting to his power. Control is an illusion. The night and day doesn't necessarily, according to some scholars, refer to just times of the day but also to stages of our spirituality and times of hardship and ease. The 'will you not listen' and 'will you not see...
