كلا انا خلقناهم مما يعلمون

كَلَّآ ۖ إِنَّا خَلَقْنَـٰهُم مِّمَّا يَعْلَمُونَ



While reciting, this thought came to me: What does Allah mean by 'مما يعلمون' ('from what they know') in context? It suggests that the people who denied the messenger know what Allah created them from. The Tafsir of Ibn Kathir explains this as referring to the semen from which humans are created. However, I considered that it could actually encompass everything that humans are made of, including all the materials composing the human body. This thought ties in with the subsequent verse where Allah states that He is capable. The question arises: Is this capability general, or can it specifically relate to the creation of humans?

This could even be seen as an indirect challenge. A quick research revealed that scientifically, not everything about the composition of the human body is fully discovered or understood. While we know many main components, we do not know everything precisely. Even if we did, composing a fully artificial human body would be far more difficult, and making it function would delve into a realm of science that might never be achieved. Thus, when Allah says, 'We are indeed capable of,' it illustrates His power to create something that we simply cannot, even though we know many of the pieces of the puzzle from which humans are made.
