بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ allows me to realize that there is nothing more important than your relationship with Allah. It reminds me that no matter how challenging or even smaller things are, like sleeping or eating, nothing goes. without saying Allah's name. Basmala allows me to remember Allah throughout my day

I always used to take Bismillah lightly, never really bothering to take a moment to understand it. It's so beautiful yet so true that we humans are in constant need of mercy from ALLAH in every matter, either big or small. And this ayah literally gives us exactly what we need.

So during every prayer of mine when I recite surah fathiha I just wonder why some people cry during such kind of recitation and today when I learnt the thafsir of surah fathiha how beautiful is the love that when I recite verses and he replies how beautiful is this

While reading, it struck me how little I say BISMIALLAH in my life. Many times I omit it because I think of it as a small task. But this lesson opened my eyes that, our Rabb does not care if the task is big or small He cares for us regardless. We have put our relegion in a pedestal even though it shouldnt be on a pedestal it should be in our hearts, on our tongues, in our minds and our hearts. Be it a daily chore or anything, we should always sta...

It always made me wonder what is in "بِسْمِ ٱللَّٰهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ"? I never fully grasped the wisdom behind it, and I might never be able to. However, I got curious about why, when Sulaiman a.s. wrote to the Queen of Sheba, he started the letter with "بِسْمِ ٱللَّٰهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ" and why does the Quran start with "بِسْمِ ٱللَّٰهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ"?

Ar Rahman And Ar rahim the two names of Allah that tell us about ...

A double share of His mercy. Where have we heard of that before?

Ar-Rahman, Ar-Rahim.

Even that is an understatement from our sights and minds, simply because,

Light upon light,
Nurun ala nur...

Alhumdulliah, I'm a young revert who's been struggling and even though I already know the translation of Surah Al-Fatihah, it's amazing hearing it over and over. I'm trying to rebuild my relationship with the Quran so I won't be so far from Allah. Insha Allah, I will reach my goal

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

The presence of the basmalah at the beginning of every single surah except for one leaves no doubt in one's mind that the basmalah is relevant to all beginnings of significance.

The basmalah being at the beginning of the entire Quran, at the beginning of surah al fatihah, firmly establishes in the hearts of humanity that the Quran is a book of mercy, from the most merciful who shared this message with us not because He h...

{ I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: "Actions are by motives, so each man will have what he intended. Thus, he whose migration was to Allah and His Messenger, his migration is to Allah and His Messenger; but he whose migration was for some worldly thing he might gain, or for a wife he might marry, his migration is to that for which he migrated." } (40 An-Nawawi, 1)

How would your day feel different if every time you said Bismillah, you paused long enough to truly feel that Allah’s mercy is surrounding you, carrying you into that moment?

I often struggle throughout my day to rush everything. It's almost like I'm afraid of the experience, or I just want it to be over with. Sometimes this can look like me eating too fast, taking a shower too fast, ending a conversation abruptly, and not being fully present ...
