Muḥammad is the Messenger of Allah. And those with him are firm with the disbelievers1 and compassionate with one another. You see them bowing and prostrating2 ˹in prayer˺, seeking Allah’s bounty and pleasure. The sign ˹of brightness can be seen˺ on their faces from the trace of prostrating ˹in prayer˺. This is their description in the Torah.3 And their parable in the Gospel is that of a seed that sprouts its ˹tiny˺ branches, making it strong. Then it becomes thick, standing firmly on its stem, to the delight of the planters4—in this way Allah makes the believers a source of dismay for the disbelievers.5 To those of them who believe and do good, Allah has promised forgiveness and a great reward.
'We have certainly created man in hardship.' (Qur’an 90:4)
This verse has been on my mind since morning, just one short Aya, yet it carries a truth that reshapes how I see life.
We were created in hardship. Struggle isn’t a detour from life; it is life. But for years, I kept hoping for that day when things would finally settle, when the struggle would be over. And yet, every time I reached a goal, I felt... empty. That peace I imagined never tr...
'Muḥammad is the Messenger of Allāh; and those with him are forceful against the disbelievers, merciful among themselves. You see them bowing and prostrating [in prayer], seeking bounty from Allāh and [His] pleasure. Their sign is in their faces from the effect of prostration [i.e., prayer].'
When this Surah was revealed, Muslims were about to form a strengthened community. Allah reassured them of victory and success, granting them steadfastness...
Muslims as an Ummah or a community or a society, we are in a state of dis-array because we fail to emulate the prophet's way of life. Quran 33:21 Allah is guiding us in that Direction.
What do we gain as a society by following the prophet's footsteps ?
Let's Reflect on Quran 48:29, we shall become like the community Prophet raised. What were they before Islam? If we go back to history, you will know what they used to be !.
The last ayah of Surah Fath gives an account of the Sahabah.
. وَمَثَلُهُمْ فِى ٱلْإِنجِيلِ كَزَرْعٍ أَخْرَجَ شَطْـَٔهُۥ فَـَٔازَرَهُۥ فَٱسْتَغْلَظَ فَٱسْتَوَىٰ عَلَىٰ سُوقِهِۦ 'And their description in the Gospel is as a plant which produces its offshoots and strengthens them so they grow firm and stand upon their stalk'
They are like seeds-كَزَرْعٍ that germinate with the nutrition of the Quran turning into firm trees. The root of which is ...
If someone were to fly over the Amazon forest, the lush and dense greenery would captivates him. This pictorial view is a commutative sum of each individual tree that has grown to its optimum level. Analogous to that civilized community comes into existence only when the individual beings improve themselves. The point being, change does not happen from above downward. It's the other way round. No matter how amazing the government is, the country ...
The Torah references the Sahaba in Deutronomy 33:2 by mentioning • Sinai, reference to Moses AS • Seir, a mountainous region in Palestine, as a reference to Jesus As • and Mount Paran, agreed upon by the biblical scholars to be Arabia, and thus this is a reference to Prophet Mohammad SAW, the only known Arabian prophet • and the myriads or multitude of 10s of thousands of man can be no other then his companions as no prophet amassed such a ...
Imam Malik used this verse as a proof that the one who hates the companions of the Prophet SAW are disbelievers, as the verse itself said at the end that 'Allah makes the believers a source of dismay for the disbelievers'

JUZ 26 JIHAD AS A PROTECTION AGAINST AL WAHN JUHAD AS A SECURITY AGAINST GENOCIDE
Surah Muhammad builds the defence system of a fledgling new nation. Surah Al Fath built on that security to define true victory. Surah Al Hujuraat fills this newly founded victory and the newly built nation with the necessary societal rules and regulations for interaction.
As the Muslims built a society in Madinah from where Islam would spread; these Surahs mapped...
