حَٰفِظُواْ
عَلَى
ٱلصَّلَوَٰتِ
وَٱلصَّلَوٰةِ
ٱلۡوُسۡطَىٰ
وَقُومُواْ
لِلَّهِ
قَٰنِتِينَ
٢٣٨
Ampingi ninyo (ang lima ka obligadong) pag-ampo, ug (ilabi na) ang tunga-tunga ('hapon nga pag-ampo). Ug magbarog atubangan kang Allãh nga masinugtanon.

Allah commands that the prayer should be performed properly and on time. It is reported in the Two Sahihs that Ibn Mas`ud said, "I asked the Prophet , `Which deed is the dearest (to Allah)' He replied:
