وَإِن
طَلَّقۡتُمُوهُنَّ
مِن
قَبۡلِ
أَن
تَمَسُّوهُنَّ
وَقَدۡ
فَرَضۡتُمۡ
لَهُنَّ
فَرِيضَةٗ
فَنِصۡفُ
مَا
فَرَضۡتُمۡ
إِلَّآ
أَن
يَعۡفُونَ
أَوۡ
يَعۡفُوَاْ
ٱلَّذِي
بِيَدِهِۦ
عُقۡدَةُ
ٱلنِّكَاحِۚ
وَأَن
تَعۡفُوٓاْ
أَقۡرَبُ
لِلتَّقۡوَىٰۚ
وَلَا
تَنسَوُاْ
ٱلۡفَضۡلَ
بَيۡنَكُمۡۚ
إِنَّ
ٱللَّهَ
بِمَا
تَعۡمَلُونَ
بَصِيرٌ

ஆனால், அவர்களுடைய மஹரை நீங்கள் குறிப்பிட்டிருந்து, அவர்களைத் தொடுவதற்கு முன்னதாகவே தலாக்குக் கூறிவிட்டால் நீங்கள் (மஹராகக்) குறிப்பிட்டிருந்ததில் பாதி அப்பெண்களுக்கு உண்டு. எனினும், யாருடைய கையில் திருமண தொடர்பு இருக்கிறதோ அவன் (கணவன்) அல்லது அவள் (மனைவி) விட்டுக் கொடுத்தாலே தவிர (அதாவது கணவன் முழு மஹரையும் கொடுத்திடலாம் அல்லது மனைவி பாதி மஹரையும் வாங்காமல் விட்டு விடலாம்.) ஆயினும், நீங்கள் (ஆண்கள்) விட்டுக் கொடுப்பது இறையச்சத்திற்கு மிக நெருக்கமானதாகும். ஆதலால், உங்களுக்குள் உபகாரம் செய்து கொள்வதை மறந்து விடாதீர்கள். நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ் நீங்கள் செய்பவற்றை உற்று நோக்குகிறான்.
